(more info) This package of mounts includes the front and rear mounts that should also be installed when replacing your struts and shocks. Don't overlook your rubber suspension mounts as they wear out just as fast (or faster) as the shocks themselves. Installing these new mounts does not take any additional time, effort, or special tools. These are direct replacements for the mounts already on the car.

We have picked Delrin for this application due to its high rigidity and low coefficient of friction allowing for minimal suspension bushing deflection (geometry change) but decreasing bushing windup or drag (friction). They are not recommended for street-use but highly-recommended for track cars. They will work on all E30, E36, and Z3 models.
For convenience, we carry spare bushing carrier brackets (part# TSU9995PB3, see illustation above) and can pre-install your bushings into the carriers, if you choose. This will save you from needing specialty tools (including a hydraulic press, drills, and taps) and will allow you (or your mechanic) to perform the install much quicker. They have more rubber then the stock bushings. We have found the increased volume of rubber helps the bushings last longer. These bushings can actually help reduce vibrations produced by the mass of larger wheels or brakes.

Front Upper Strut/Shock Mount - Left or Right Side - E30 325iX
(more info) The strut mount (or guide support) locate the front strut to the chassis of the car. They are a very durable rubber meant to absorb vibration and imapcts from bumps, potholes, etc. There is also a bearing inside that allows the strut shaft to turn independent of the rest of the suspension. Therefore, the front strut mount is a very critical piece on the E30 suspension. These mounts generally last 100,000 miles or more but it would be a good idea to change them with every strut replacement. This mount is specific to the 325iX 4WD.

(more info) This Genuine BMW upper strut mount is "offset" and adds more negative camber (or removes camber if installed in reverse) to the front of your E30, E24, or E28. These are a must for any track/autocross-driven BMW because they decrease understeer! Note that more negative camber will increase inner tire wear so offset mounts are generally recommended only for track cars. A legal upgrade in many racing classes.

(more info) The upper strut mount provides a locating point for the top of the front struts. It contains a rubber-isolated bearing that allows the strut shaft to move independently from the rest of the suspension - a critical component for the suspension to be quiet and effective. The rubber also absorbs vibrations and impact harshness, helping to keep unwanted noise and harshness from reaching the steering wheel. These are the mounts with the standard - not offset - alignment.

This rear differential mount is made from near-solid Delrin plastic and is a direct replacement upgrade from the stock rubber piece. The Delrin material has almost no flex to it, which results in better response, more feedback, and more power transferred to the wheels. Because the diff on these cars acts as a 'stressed' part of the rear suspension, we only advise using this solid mount with our Turner Solid Aluminum Subframe Mounts. This part is legal in many racing classes.

Want the Ultimate design in a rear shock tower mount? You've found it. These rear shock mounts are designed for use on the track and racing. This set of mounts will help your rear shocks perform the best they can in those conditions. The advantage to using a mount with spherical bearing is that it allows the shock to freely move off axis without side loading the shock shaft like rubber or polyurethane mounts do. Side loading a shock increases stiction and wear which decreases its efficiency. Because these are mounts without an isolator (rubber or polyurethane) to dampen road noise and vibrations we do not recommend them for street cars. These were designed in-house and developed for our own track and race cars.
These TMS bearing mounts include both 10mm and 12mm stainless steel bearing sleeves to work with a wide variety of shock shaft pins. The pin is the upper-most portion of the shock where it passes through the mount. If you need a bearing sleeve size other then 10mm or 12mm please contact us.

A lot of suspension motion, chassis flex, and driveline torque has to go through these two points, which makes them notorious for failure. Rear Subframe-Diff Mount Set - Turner Solid Race - E30

A BMW’s subframe is the heart of the rear suspension. The differential is part of the subframe, as it is a stress member system. When the subframe moves, so do all of the rear suspension mounting points. Replacing the stock rubber subframe bushings with solid aluminum will limit drivetrain and suspension movement and keep your car’s suspension geometry the way it’s supposed to be. The Delrin diff mount bushing is a near-solid mount that will last longer than the original rubber and does not 'wind up' under load/unload. This transfers more power through the axles to the wheels. The Turner Motorsport E30 solid subframe and differential mount bushing kit is a direct replacement for the stock BMW subframe mounts and differential bushing. We have incorporated ideas from our other race style solid bushings not only make these very light weight but also to be fully serviceable and removable in the case of subframe or diff cover replacement. This kit is a legal upgrade in many racing classes.
We also sell the Solid Differential mount and Subframe Mounts separately, for those that may already have one of the products or if you desire spares for fast installation. A common example is if you have two differentials with covers, and want to make fast gearing changes at the track.
