Bilstein and H&R have been building the best suspension components for the 5-series since the line was introduced. Bilstein and H&R have been the preferred sources for suspension products for Alpina, AC Schnitzer, Hartge, and
even Original Equipment on several BMW models. If you want to rejuvenate your BMW's handling, this should be one of your steps! This package includes 4 H&R Sport springs and 4 Bilstein Sport shocks. It uses all of the factory mounting hardware and mounts. The ride on this package is a little stiffer than on a E34 M5 for improved handling. But thanks to Bilsteins ingenious valving design, small bumps and dips are soaked up just like the softer stock suspension. For all E34 models please choose from the boxes below: the size of
the nut in the front upper strut bearing (in millimeters) AND the size of the cap that covers it (in inches).
For the E34 M5, H&R makes a lowering spring set that works with the stock self-leveling system (link
to part number 29579). This shock/spring package is only for cars that do not use the self-leveling system (a delete kit may be required).
