Custom Differential for E36 325/328 & E36 M3

We offer a wide variety of differential options for the E36 and E36 M3, from a simple rebuild of your current open differential, to high end variable ramp limited slip options for the serious BMW racer.
How does this work? It's easy. We will build your custom differential, which will be shipped directly to you. Your new/rebuilt differential includes a $400 core charge. You can then send us your old/stock differential as a core -- Factory open diffs (non limited slip) are elligible for a $200 credit, factory LSD are elligible for the full $400 credit. All custom diffs receive the same $400 core charge. Cores must be sent to us within 15 days or receiving your rebuilt core. Sorry, no returns on custom built differentials.
Customizing your rebuilt differential has never been easier. Simply select your options below. The base price includes a rebuilt open differential with either a 3.15 or 3.91 gear ratio. If you would like a limited slip (LSD) unit added, as well as other custom ratios, simply choose your options below.

Differential Storage Stand - E30, E36, Z3

Protect your spare differential from damage when you are storing it in a garage, trailer, or even when you have to ship your differential. Due to the complex shape of most differentials, they are very hard to tie down in a trailer (a safety issue) and very hard to store or transport without potentially damaging other items in their vacinity. The TMS storage stand helps with both of these issues. Storage stand will also work with most common finned differential covers. Hardware included with storage stand.

E36 325i/328i/M3 Rogue Enginneering Differential Cover

Cooling the oil in any track driven car is a must! Just ask any endurance racer. According to Rogue Enginneering, a 30-minute session on the track is enough for fluid to thin out and leak through the differential's vent hole. By expanding the size of the differential cover, Rogue has provided enough room for 1.5 more quarts of fluid (we recommend Redline 75/90 fluid). Combined with the fins on the bottom of the cover, your differential will be significantly cooler and thus, will last longer. BMW uses a very similar cover on the E39 M5, E46 M3, and M Coupe/Roadster. Includes Orginal diff cover mounts, 12.9 grade zinc-plated hardware, and a port for installing a temperature sensor. |

Rear Differential Mounts - Turner Solid - E36, E36 M3

 Changing out the stock rubber differential bushings for Delrin and aluminum will result in more feedback and better suspension performance. This kit will also help prevent the front diff bolt from loosening or shearing - a very common problem on E36 cars.
The Turner Motorsport solid diff bushings have spent years being tested in various racing series and have even been used extensively on street cars. These bushings are CNC machined from high-grade billet aluminum and Delrin and are a direct replacement for the stock rubber pieces. The rear two differential cover bushings are slotted to allow for BMW manufacturing tolerances. The kit includes 3 pieces: a Delrin front mount and 2 aluminum rear mounts. A new front diff bolt is recommended - add it from the drop-down box below.

Replacement Rubber Differential Mount Set for 1992-1999 E36 3-series

A set of replacement rubber mounts for the differential on BMW E36 cars, 1992-1999. Includes the front rubber mount (#33171134910) and the two rear mounts (#33171134911) in the cover (press fit to your existing cover). A new front bolt (#33176750780) is strongly recommended.
