BMW E36 Shock & Spring Packages 

This Sport shock/spring package will lower your car by 1.5" (front) and 1.0" (rear). It includes 2 Bilstein Sport front struts and 2 Bilstein Sport rear shocks and 4 H&R Sport springs. Add a set of Turner Motorsport swaybars for better handling and less bodyroll! This suspension will be firmer than stock but not harsh - perfect for the BMW owner that wants better handling and a lowered look but still wants to drive the car every day. It will make your ordinary E36 feel more like an M3! Upgraded shock mounts are strongly recommended. Bilstein shocks come with a lifetime warranty.

Note: for cars that have a factory "sport" suspension this package will still lower the car to similar specs as above. The factory sport suspension was not substantially different than a stock suspension.

On the 1992 318i/is, there was a production date split at 6/92. However, we have seen early cars with the later-style suspension. The easiest way to tell is if the strut body has a sway bar / swaybar link attachment tab on it (like on the M3). The later-style strut body did not have this as the sway bar / swaybar link attaches only to the control arm. There are other differences as well - strut shaft diameter, upper spring hat (and spring), and the upper strut mount with bearing. If there is any doubt as to which style you have, please call before ordering.

It includes 2 Bilstein Monotube Sport front struts (the latest Bilstein design) and 2 Bilstein Sport rear shocks and 4 H&R Sport springs. Add a set of Turner Motorsport swaybars for better handling and less bodyroll! This suspension will be firmer than stock but thanks to Bilstein's ingenious valving design it will not be harsh.
