BMW E39 Shock & Spring Packages 

TMS has put together a shock and spring package designed to lower your car's ride height thus improving handling, reducing body roll, and give your car a more athletic feel without being punishing for everyday use. We chose H&R Springs to replace the factory springs. These will lower your car tastefully for a better appearance. Since these springs are progressive they stiffen as they are compressed. This keeps the ride civilized. A Bilstein Sport gas-pressure shock absorber works with these H&R springs to maintain suspension travel and keep unwanted body motions to a minimum. For the E39, BMW had a standard suspension and a factory sport suspension. The difference is in the ride height. Below is a table with the model and drop in ride height with the H&R Sport springs. Note: H&R does not make springs for the E39 Touring (wagon).
