BMW E46 Brake Pads - TMS Racing 

Since trying the first set of these pads back in 1991, TMS has not found a better all around pad for Drivers schools ! Unlike other racing pads these pads will work great when stone cold. Although we do not recommend that you used these on the street,due to the noise and brake dust they produce, they can be installed at home and driven to the track. TMS Racing brake pads are made of an unique mixture of carbon and Kevlar combined with an exclusive ceramic insulator. This compound has excellent wear characteristics, (easy on rotors) high temperature fade resistance and high coefficient of friction. * RACING BRAKE PADS ARE DESIGNED TO WORK AS A FRONT AND REAR SET ONLY. DUE TO THE INCREASED COEFFICIENT OF FRICTION, USING RACE PADS ONLY IN THE FRONT MAY RESULT IN A FRONT BRAKE OVER-HEATING SITUATION, PRE-MATURE PAD & ROTOR WEAR, BRAKE ROTOR WARPING AND BRAKE FADE.
