This exhaust system is designed for the discerning enthusiast who wants a very aggressive exhaust tuned for high flow but that won't sound like certain 'tuned' import cars. This exhaust works especially well on highly-tuned street and track cars that see a lot of high-rpm use. The weight-savings over stock is huge as the large resonators in the stock exhaust are removed. The Supersprint resonator is designed to tone down the exhaust to civilized levels and providing needed backpressure to keep torque plentiful at low rpm.

This exhaust deletes the front resonator from the exhaust and adds a tuned rear resonator and sport rear muffler. The sound is much more throaty and aggressive than stock but the sound is very refined and not 'boy-racer'. This is one of the best cat-back exhaust systems in the world for the 325 and 330.

Experience the latest design innovation from Supersprint
for the E46 M3 -- 'stepped' design headers. While the technology has been in
widespread use in Formula 1 for awhile, this is the first application of a
stepped design on the E46 M3. In an engine that is tuned as much as the S54,
airflow management is critical in getting big horsepower numbers from the
exhaust. The Supersprint design is the next step in innovation in header design.
By slightly increasing the size of the pipe diameters as the exhaust system
moves away from the engine, the exhaust can flow more air. Supersprint's design
is tuned specifically for the S54 engine which is important in making more power
without losing low-end torque. The headers merge into a precision-fit merge
collector and then exhaust gases
flow into the oversized S-pipe. Our most-popular package is for the stepped
headers with no cats (straight pipe) but cats are available for people who want
to keep their cars somewhat streetable. Total horsepower gain with the complete
system over a US M3 would be more than 30hp.
We also recommend using this system on the M3 with special software.
The Shark Injector software has been specifically designed for cars running
headers but no cats. The software "turns down" the readings from the
rear O2 sensors and modifies the tolerances for the EGT sensor. Using an exhaust
without the cats and proper software will surely cause a Check Engine Light. Click

Corsa Performance T-304 stainless exhaust system for 2001-2006 E46 M3. Features mandrel-bent tubing, polished quad 3" tips, and drone-free quiet-cruising, thanks to Corsa's patented Reflective Sound-Cancellation (RSC) technology. This technology is a non-electrical noise control system without the complication of incorporating the use of electronics or speakers. Essentially, engine sound (pressure) waves are reflected in passages inside the muffler 180 degrees out of phase to cancel out unwanted sound waves. The result is a "tuned" muffler that "cleans up" the noise without eliminating the pure sound of power associated with a high-performance vehicle. Using this Corsa technology, the stainless steel Corsa Performance line of mufflers are tuned to eliminate passenger cabin resonance and produce just the "right" sound. The result is quieter cruising with an awe-inspiring roar at full throttle. The Corsa system also eliminates the "Rasp" characterists of the stock exhaust sound. This Rasp-elimination is accomplished just like the earlier "Rasp-X" product. This system is amazingly quiet during normal cruising, due to the "no drone" RSC technology, yet still has an aggressive presence and full sound while under throttle. This makes for ideal sound for those that want an aggressive "roar" while driving hard, yet still want a more discrete lower volume for normal cruising. O2 Sensor Bung and plug. This weld-in bung allows an O2 sensor to be screwed into your exhaust system. It's required for custom exhaust systems, and is also useful for air/fuel ratio measurements when dyno testing. A threaded plug is included to cap off when not in use. Bung and cap/plug are both 100% stainless steel. The bung and plug are also available separately (in case you don't need both). Simply choose your option below.
