Rebuilt Manual Transmission - E46 M3
(more info) Our standard gearbox rebuilding includes complete disassembly, thorough cleaning, and close inspection of all parts. We replace the synchro rings, bearings, seals and gaskets. Syncro detents are increased for better gear engagement.
These are the transmissions we used in our Grand-Am Championship winning E46 M3. They provide smoother and faster shifts with less likelyhood of missed shifts. Additionally, we have found the rebuilt transmissions last longer than the brand new factory transmissions.
If you choose the polished option, the gears are finished for smoother shifting and lower gearbox temperatures. Also the reduced friction will help product a mild increase in rear wheel horsepower.
