Coolant Expansion Tank - E53 X5 Z3 (more info)
This radiator expansion tank is used on E53 X5 4.4i, 4.6is with M62 engines and Z3 2.3 2.5i 2.8 3.0i from 2000-2002. It is a common failure item.

If you are overhauling your coolant system, now is the time to consider preventative replacement of this expansion tank. These are known to go bad, causing a leak which can leave you stranded. If your car has over 100k miles and hasn't had one of these replaced, we highly recommend replacement.

Coolant/Washer Level Sensor (installs in expansion tank) - Many BMW (see list) (more info)
This is the sensor / sending unit that notifies the computer if your coolant level is low. When this fails, it can give a false indication of low coolant -- or worse, not inform you of a low coolant situation which could potential cause overheating. (Note: This sensor is also found in the windshield washer container, to alert the computer when you are low on washer fluid)

This sensor also serves as the washer fluid level sensor on many models.

Hose clamps for radiator hoses, coolant hoses, vacuum hoses, or intake hoses. These hose clamps are the same style as your OEM hoses with a smooth inside band to prevent cutting into the hose material.

9mm band width

6mm hex & slotted head

Smooth inside of band = optimal hose protection

430 Stainless steel band and housing with zinc plated steel screw

Asymmetric housing = even distribution of forces and prevents tilting of the clamp when tightening
