This part number replaces former BMW part 11 51 7 563 659 (11517563659). This is the newest water pump design from BMW and is correct for all N54 and N55 engines.
You will also need to purchase replacement aluminum screws Part #11510392553 because BMW does not recommend re-using the originals.

Water Pump Pulley - E46 E39 Z3
(more info) This water pump pulley mounts between the engine fan and the water pump and can break while replacing the water pump or fan / fan clutch. Replacing this item can be a good preventative measure.
