E82 Sway Bar Kits
The next step in tuning your car's handling - after shocks and springs - should be a set of swaybars. The larger front and rear bars give your car less bodyroll in corners and better turn-in. Polyurethane bushings and rear links are included in most kits. H&R Sway Bars are the perfect compliment to H&R springs, shocks, coil overs and Cup Kits. Designed to reduce body roll, increase lateral stiffness and improve handling as a whole, H&R Sway Bars are made using a proprietary alloy that is both stronger and more resilient than competitive sway bars.
But it doesn't end there. All Sway Bar kits have precision forged ends and include bushings made from an exclusive urethane/Teflon composite that eliminates squeaks, and don't require lubrication. Ever. That means no mess, no maintenance-just bolt in H&R Sway Bars and go!

M3 Front Sway Bar Upgrade - E82, E9X

The stock E93 M3 front 28mm swaybar can be used on all of the other E90/E92 and E82 cars as an upgrade to reduce bodyroll, improve handling, and get quicker turn-in. This is a direct upgrade for all E82/E88/E9X (not xi AWD) when used with the bar, bushings, and hardware.
stock E90/E92 M3 sway bar size = 26.5mm
stock E9X non-M3 sway bar size = 26.5-23.0mm
stock E93 M3 sway bar size = 28-24mm
The front anti-roll bar is one of the keys to improving handling feel for the E82 and E9X. The larger bar is stiffer, which helps control the front tires and keep them in contact with the road. The front tires will bite harder into the turn, giving you more front grip. You'll see improved turn-in response, less understeer, and less body roll. This is one the best street suspension upgrades you can make for the E82/E9X cars. And there's almost no change in ride comfort or noise. Installation is simple for the front sway bar and takes about one hour.
