Our Stage 1 kit featuring a cold-air intake kit and matching performance software. The aFe intake is a cone filter with a heat-blocking shield around it. The larger surface area of the filter, combined with the heat shield, allow more cool air to enter the engine - creating more power and torque, a richer engine sound, and better throttle response. The kit is supplied complete with heat shield, intake tube, sealing materials, hardware, and install instructions.

Our flash software is tuned especially for a cold-air intake, maximizing the potential and providing smoother power delivery. We take the stock software and make adjustments for 91 octane (stock software is set around 87). We can get more power and torque, and increase fuel efficiency without affecting driveability or the life of the engine. The throttle response is also improved (quicker) eliminating unwanted and dangerous flat spots in the pedal response.

This package covers BMW's N51 SULEV model - Super Ultra Low Emissions Vehicle specification. The N51 engine was installed in the 128i model in certain parts of the country to help with emissions certification (California, the Northwest, and the Northeast). Most customers did not have choice in which engine was installed. We will verify that you get the correct software by checking the VIN at the time of your order.

The software is performed via a 'flash' of the car's computer. The computer must be sent to us for the software install. The 128i has BMW's 'MO - Medium Output' engine so it was de-tuned slightly from its true potential. What we have done is focus on improving the mid-range torque to get back some of that lost horsepower. Oil Pressure Switch (fits most BMWs) (more info)

Having your oil pressure light come on can mean very serious problems. Or it could just be this switch that fails several times over a car's lifespan. By no means should you ignore the warning light but replacing this sensor could be the actual culprit. The other problem with this switch is that oil can leak past its seal. With the oil under a lot of pressure at this point, the oil loss can be a serious concern. It's a simple replacement when doing most oil change work.

This hose directs the oil & combustion vapors from the valve cover and directs them to the intake manifold where they are put through combustion again in order to reduce emissions. N51/N52/N52N Intake & Exhaust Camshaft Sensor Triggers for Bosch Motorsport Management Systems (more info)

The “Quick-Start” feature recently implemented by Bosch in their Motorsport ECUs is a more economical feature since the engine can now start from anywhere in the firing order. Conventional previous systems would require a full 360° rotation for the ECU to synchronize the firing order before allowing the engine to start. The Bosch Motorsport system is much more efficient as it does not waste battery power or add undue wear to the starter and alternator. The faster start is also much safer for critical engine components as there is less cranking with low oil pressure. These Cam Position Sensor Triggers were developed for our own Grand-Am team, saving you the cost and time to design and manufacture your own. We have developed these specifically for the Bosch Motorsport engine management but they may also work on other aftermarket engine management systems.

Coolant/Washer Level Sensor (installs in expansion tank) - Many BMW (see list) (more info)

This is the sensor / sending unit that notifies the computer if your coolant level is low. When this fails, it can give a false indication of low coolant -- or worse, not inform you of a low coolant situation which could potential cause overheating. (Note: This sensor is also found in the windshield washer container, to alert the computer when you are low on washer fluid)

This sensor also serves as the washer fluid level sensor on many models.

As most 335 owners have discovered, the cooling system is vital to maintaining high levels of boost. The car's sophisticated electronics wisely shut down and limit boost when temperatures are elevated enough to do potential harm. Don't short-change your cooling system or performance on the street or the track! Where the stock radiator suffers is in capacity, which is why BMW also sells an additional radiator and other cooling upgrades with their Performance packages. This PWR radiator for the E90/E92 335 and E82 135 is a larger 42mm core (4mm thicker than stock) for additional capacity and bulletproof cooling. It fits in the stock location, with the stock shroud and fan (some plastic trimming may be necessary), maximizing the available space to dedicate to fluid capacity and surface area. Having a greater capacity means less saturation time for the cooling fluid which leads to more consistent engine temperatures, reducing the possibility of limp mode condition and reducing wear and tear on other cooling components such as the water pump and thermostat. Not only is this radiator larger, it's designed with the stresses of motorsports in mind. The cooling vanes use a unique oven brazed bonding technology that will not fatigue and crack like epoxyed construction. We have been more impressed with the fitment and quality of PWR over any other brand currently on the market. Aircraft-grade aluminum is used for the tanks and frame, which are TIG-welded for superior strength.This radiator is a direct replacement for the stock E9X radiator, with all of the same hose locations and fittings as the original radiator. Each radiator is pressure-tested during manufacturing. Don't take your car's cooling system for granted!One of the biggest weak points is the cooling system. Replacing your waterpump will go a long way for keeping your car on the road and operating properly.

This part number replaces former BMW part 11 51 7 563 659 (11517563659). This is the newest water pump design from BMW and is correct for all N54 and N55 engines.
