This stainless steel rear exhaust section replaces the heavy (and restrictive) stock rear muffler on the 135i. Shed excess weight and restriction, and get a better sound! You will love the rich, deep sound this rear muffler gives your 135i. And if you have tuned your 135i to make more boost than stock, you will greatly appreciate the added power and reduced weight.

If you're looking for a well-built and very light exhaust system for your track/racing 135i this is a fantastic option! This E82 Borla Race Exhaust is the full system from the downpipes to the back of the car. It's a straight-pipe design, with Test Pipes to eliminate the secondary cats, and a single rear muffler. The free-flowing design is perfect on the turbo engine as the turbo impeller(s) spin with less resistance. This is 100% stainless steel with mandrel-bent tubing from the official exhaust supplier to the Turner Motorsport race team. This system is only intended for race or track-only cars as it deletes one set of cats and has only one muffler for sound dampening. The primary stock cats in the exhaust manifolds remain untouched.

E82 1M Borla ATAK Exhaust - Rear Muffler

The Borla ATAK exhaust for the 1M is what the car should have had on it from the factory! Producing a throaty but muted growl, this exhaust makes the car sound like a baby M3. It's perfectly suitable for around town and civilized situations but will open up into a roar when you want the fun to start. Borla has spent a lot of time fine-tuning the mufflers to produce just the right amount of throaty noise while also eliminating drone as much as possible. The rear section actually consists of two, separately-tuned Borla mufflers with the correct piping for a true, bolt-on fitment. The entire system is 100% stainless steel with a 1,000,000 mile warranty. The quad round tips are 80mm diameter and polished, close to the stock size, for a subtle but pleasing aesthetic upgrade.
