We recommend this charger unless your car has the Daytime Running Light feature activated. In that case a charger with a 20amp setting is required. USB Cable for USB Shark Injector (more info)

This USB cable is compatible with the newer version USB enabled Shark Injectors, which are distinguished by the small USB port located on the face of the device. In the past, when a Shark Injector owner needed an update made to his/her software, it required physically shipping the Shark Injector to Turner Motorsport for us to make the update for you. Advances made in the latest generation "USB" Shark Injector now make it possible for YOU to apply this type of update from your home computer, eliminating the hassle of shipping and waiting for your Shark Injector.

This cable, when combined with any Windows based PC (or Mac running Windows via Bootcamp, VMware, Parallels, etc) and a SOON-TO-BE RELEASED Software Update application allows updates to be applied to the Shark Injector's programming. As periodic updates are released, we'll be able to email you updates to your Conforti Shark Injector, free of charge.

Please note, this cable is NOT required to install the Shark Injector, and is only used when performing updates to your Shark Injector. Should you require updates to your Shark Injector at a later date, you may acquire the cable then -- or you may purchase the cable now to keep with your Shark Injector for future use, if needed (recommended).

This amazing hand-held unit downloads the TMS/Conforti performance engine software directly into your BMW. The Shark Injector™ provides an easy to install OBD-II performance upgrade, in minutes! TMS / Conforti Performance Engine Software represents the most cost-effective approach to increasing engine performance. It has been dyno-tested to provide a safe increase in power by altering fuel enrichment, cam timing and ignition timing specifically for use with premium gasoline. TMS OBD-II Performance Engine Software also provides an increase in the factory rev-limit allowing for optimum shift points for maximum acceleration. Not only do we re-map part-throttle fuel and spark, we also re-map other areas of chips other tuners don't touch - such as acceleration enrichment, transition fueling (how the car responds to rapid change in pedal, and VANOS control as needed to optimize the vehicle for operation on premium fuel (91+ octane).

This programmer works for all manual transmission 2003, 2004, 2005 Z4 2.5 liter and Z4 3.0 liter roadsters and coupes. The 2003-2005 Z4 used the M54 engine, which is compatible with this software update.

When BMW began using the "Drive-by-wire" throttle system in 2001, a lot of people cringed. The Drive-by-wire system uses electronics to replace the mechanical cable throttle of the past. This means the electronics between the accelerator pedal and motorized throttle must interpret what your right foot does, and ultimately decides how the engine will respond. Although advanced in it's technology and engineering, many of us agree that the Drive-by-Wire equipped BMWs feel unresponsive and lack the crisp, sharp throttle response that older BMWs had with a traditional throttle cable. That's where the Sprint Booster comes in.

The Sprint Booster is an in-line "plug and play" module, that remaps the Drive-by-Wire throttle curve to be much quicker than stock programming. It removes the "lag" or delay that exists in the stock electronic mapping. The result is sharper, quicker throttle response and immediate power delivery.

Remote Adjustment Switch

The latest generation of Sprint Boosters now come with a plug n' play selectable switch. The selectable switch can be located anywhere the driver chooses. The driver can choose between 3 acceleration programs by pressing the LED button -- factory, sport and race.

We found the difference to be NIGHT AND DAY, and were instantly smitten by the snappier feel the Sprint Booster gave to both a stock BMW as well as on a modified BMW. What's more - the Sprint Booster installs in just a few minutes at the back of the gas pedal. Simply release pedal from the pedal base by unlocking the locking tab, pull the pedal up/foward, unplug the harness, and plug in Sprint Booster. How does it work? The Sprint Booster listens to the pedal input signal, and sends an improved signal to the ETC (electronic throttle control) which has been amplified or "boosted", so that the throttle is more responsive throughout the entire rpm range.
