This 264/272 degree cam for the MINI Cooper S provides a smooth linear power gain from midrange to redline, while idle smoothness is retained. We have seen a 6-8 Horsepower gain from the install of this cam on a stock car - more if the car has been "Sharked" or has have the boost increased.

Our best selling software/pulley package is finally now in Shark Injector form! We are getting 196-208 horsepower at the engine (160-175 wheel horsepower, depending on intercooler temp) from the TMS power pulley and software kit. Kit includes a new supercharger belt, a set of special BOSCH spark plugs designed for the Mini Cooper S running higher boost, custom TMS/Conforti software loaded in a "do it yourself" Shark Injector unit - no need to send out your ECU! And a two-piece billet aluminum supercharger pulley with stainless steel self-centering insert. The smaller (16%) supercharger pulley increases boost from a stock 10.5 to 14.5 lbs - this increased boost is especially noticeable at lower RPM, making your Mini S even more fun to drive than it is now. We are talking a gain of 30-34HP at the engine (or about 25-30hp at the wheels)! We installed this on our blue and yellow project MINI Cooper S in December 2002, and all we can say is.... "WOW! This car is faster than an E36 M3!" and since then we have put over 58,000 trouble free miles on the car. The original coolant expansion tank on the MINI Cooper S is known to develop leaking problems, particularly around the seam. The old version of the tank is whiter in cooler, where the updated version is more yellowish in color. This updated version is much less prone to leaks. Comes with new cap.

Have you ever noticed how crisp and responsive your MINI was after that initial warm-up period, and wanted to keep that feeling for the rest of the day? This 180° F Thermostat is the solution. Not only does the engine maintain its fresh-start power, but also the under-hood temperatures are greatly diminished (see comparison table below). Now when your car sits after a hard run it won't cook and dry out everything under the hood as bad as it did in the stock configuration. This is great for the MINI owner that lives in a hot climate, or those that push their cars hard at the track or local twisty road.
Please Note: This thermostat does not include a replacement gasket. Reuse the gasket from the OEM thermostat.
Cold Weather Alert: If you encounter weather below 50º F or 10º C, please be aware that the ECU could throw a “check engine” light. This is no cause for alarm as the sensors are registering an anomaly and the thermostat is not harming the engine. The “check engine” light can be reset with a diagnostic tool or left as is. Please call if you have questions.
