Constant Pressure Valve for E46 M3, MZ3 (S54), and Z4 M
(more info) Oil leak on the E46 M3? The constant pressure valve, or oil pressure relief valve, is the most likely reason. This screw valve, located on the exhaust side of the engine block, has a steel o-ring that becomes flat over time, allowing oil to leak around it and down the back of your engine, transmission, undertray, and eventually to your driveway. If you see an oil leak around your transmission and think it's the rear main seal or from the oil pan, try replacing this first. Replacement is the only remedy as the washer on the screw has deformed in shape. The constant pressure valve helps to keep oil up in the cylinder head so you want a direct replacement part - not an aftermarket 'solution'. This is an Original BMW part. One required.

Idle Control Valve - M50, M52, M52TU, M54
(more info) Rough or hunting idle? Stalling? Sputtering? These are all symptoms of poor fuel delivery or a vacuum leak in your intake system. The idle control valve is one of the areas that you can check to fix these issues. The ICV is basically a electrically-driven throttle body that regulates the air/fuel mixture at light throttle openings. Over time, the ICV can become gummed up with oil and carbon, resulting in slow or blocked operation. Worst case, the electric motor inside will freeze which will stall the engine.
The ICV will typically need to be cleaned or replaced every 100k miles. It can be cleaned with carb cleaner but for seriously dirty or old ICVs you may want to replace the whole unit with a new one. There is also a hard rubber seal between the ICV and the manifold and this should be replaced as well. You may also want to replace the Crankcase Vent Valve as it can also fill up with oil and carbon and replacement can be done at the same time as the ICV.
Add a new ICV to your M50 Manifold Upgrade to save time and money!

OBDI Conversion Part - Turner Motorsport OBD-I 3.2 Coolant Hose Adapter

The TMS Coolant Hose Adapter is needed when you are upgrading to OBD-I (1992-1995 components) on a 3.2 or 2.8 liter engine. These earlier engines use a fitting to secure the heater hose to the front engine cover. The 3.2 and 2.8 liter engines do not have this fitting. This is also needed if you are doing an E30 3.2 or 2.8 engine conversion using OBD-I electronics.

There is no way to affix a coolant hose to the 3.2L M3 Engine in stock
form.

Apply two-part epoxy (Included) and insert the TMS Coolant Hose Adapter.

Tap into place with hammer to assure a watertight seal.

OBDI Conversion Part - Water Temp Sensor Wiring Adaptor

The TMS Water Temp Sensor Wiring Adaptor is needed when you are upgrading to OBD-I (1992-1995 components) on a 3.2 or 2.8 liter engine. These earlier engines use two separate water temp sensors in the head, one for the ECU and one for the instrument cluster. Most of the 3.2 and some of the 2.8 liter engines do not have two holes drilled in the head for the early water temp sensors. This is due to the fact that the 3.2 and 2.8 engines used a combined water temp sensor. So we designed a easy to use plug and play wiring harness.
