Z3 MOMO Steering Wheels & Hubs
MOMO Steering Wheels provide a stylish but functional upgrade to your driving experience. MOMO wheels are specifically designed to improve your grip on the wheel for better car control. That’s how MOMO got its start back in 1964 when John Surtees won the Formula One championship with a MOMO wheel in his Ferrari. Since then, MOMO wheels and racing equipment have been used by racers, manufacturers, and tuners around the world.
MOMO steering wheels feature leather or suede rims, anodized aluminum centers, and contoured thumb and palm indents. Most of the wheels we sell are in a 350mm diameter (stock BMW is usually 380mm). The 350 size is well-suited for a street-driven car with slightly quicker steering response, good sight lines to the instruments, and a comfortable position. Smaller diameter wheels are available by special order.
All MOMO Steering Wheels require the use of a hub adapter. This is because each wheel is a universal wheel and the correct spline is required to fit different manufacturers. It’s also important to set the wheel at the correct distance from the driver and clearance for things like the wiper and turn signal stalks. We stock all of the popular BMW hub adapters for the E24, E28, E30, E36, E46, E90, and Z3.

MOMO Mod Drift Steering Wheel. This is a deep-dish wheel, similar to classic rally style wheels. It's 3.5 inches (90mm) from the back of the hub to the outer face of the rim -- pushing the wheel closer to the driver for better steering control. With the wheel closer to your chest you have more leverage, making faster and easier steering adjustments. Black suede rim with yellow top-center referece bands. MOMO Mod.88 Steering Wheel for track/competition use. An evolution to the hugely popular Mod 78 wheel. This wheel features a flat bottom for more leg clearance and better grip. MOMO Steering Wheel Hub Adapter for E36 3 series & Z3

This hub adapter allows installation of a MOMO steering wheel (or any steering wheel that uses the same 6 bolt pattern / specs of a MOMO) to an E36 3 series and Z3. Includes everything pictured -- hub, slip ring, and hardware.
This is the most correct hub to use for any E36 Street car. It has the built-in copper contact riing for the horn and a tab for cancelling the turn signals. Because this hub was originally designed for an E36 without an airbag, it will require resistors t keep the SRS warning light off. Resistors are available at any local electronics store for just a few dollars. All that is needed for installation is some basic knowledge of wiring connections. This hub features a crushable base, not a solid piece, making it safer for street cars.

MOMO Steering Wheel Hub Adapter for E36, Z3

This hub adapter allows installation of a MOMO steering wheel (or any steering wheel that uses the same 6 bolt pattern / specs of a MOMO) to an E36 3 series and Z3. Includes everything pictured -- hub, slip ring, and hardware.
This hub is best suited to a track-only car. It does not have the brass contact ring for the horn or a turn signal cancellation feature (in some cars these are not needed - the horn and turn signals are wired into the column). It does not have crushable hub.
