BMWs need some added chassis strengthening in the front. You may notice some "chassis flex" when cornering or driving over a bumpy road. The reason for this is the incredible amount of force being applied to front strut towers. They have a tendency to flex when force is applied to them. Tying the strut towers together with a brace reduces the amount of flex and soldifies your car's chassis. Easy installation.

E36/E46/Z4 Group N Rear Camber Arm   (more info)
Designed and built in-house at BMW Motorsport, these are stock rear camber arms from the E36 M3 that have been strengthened by welding a reinforment in between the wishbones. Stiffer than the stock units and still adjustable for camber. This arm is legal in many racing classes where an aftermarket arm is not permitted. Sold individually, two required per car.

For maximum adjustment solid aluminum camber arms, you may also want to check out our TMS E36/E46 Adjustable Rear Camber Arms.

This arm does not include a bushing, but you may choose add a bushing using the drop down below. For an additional charge, you can get the bushing pre-pressed into the arm, so it is ready to install on the car (no added shop time or hydraulic press required).

These arms are designed to be slightly weak and flimsy as they will absorb impact energy. It's better for this arm to absorb an impact rather than the wheel or trailing arm, or subframe, etc. Also, unknowing tow truck drivers like to use this part to hook their chains on to. Electronic Damper Control (EDC) from BMW reduces variations in wheel load, ensures tires have excellent traction and counteracts bodyshell movement regardless of the weight your automobile may be carrying – and regardless of the state of the road’s surface. EDC can even help shorten braking distances, meaning you enjoy outstanding comfort along with the best in BMW on-road safety. Sensitive sensors constantly monitor all factors influencing the vehicle’s behavior and occupants’ comfort, including road conditions, load changes and vehicle speed. In a fraction of a second, the signals are analyzed by the EDC microprocessor and orders are sent to the actuators on the shock absorbers, which, with the help of magnetic valves, are variably adjusted to provide optimal suspension.

For those wanting to move away from EDC for aftermarket suspension systems or coilover setups, the EDC monitoring can be a bit obtrusive as this type of monitoring is no longer required – resulting in numerous error messages thinking the system has malfunctioned. This EDC Emulation Module installs in less than 15 minutes and will fully emulate a fully active EDC environment when activated. Module can be activated/deactivated by via the integrated mini USB port within the module housing.

    Original BMW chassis reinforcement developed for the special M3 LTW (Lightweight) model. This tubular-steel part connects the front subframe to the body and gives the car a more solid feel with less flex. Every convertible and Roadster model uses a similar design to address inherent chassis flex in the front of the car. Fits all E36 and Z3 chassis BMWs.

    By adding this Genuine BMW Motorsport cross brace, you'll dramatically reduce that flex and movement in the front half of the body on your E36.     BMW used three different spring pads in the E36 E46 3 series, each a different thickness, the thinnest being only 5mm. If they chose to use the thinnest pad on your car, you may end up with a ride height in the rear a little lower than you expected when lowering you car with sport springs. If this is the case, we suggest using these 15mm rear spring pads. These mount on TOP of the rear spring in the E36 and either top or bottom on the E46 or E85 Z4

    • CNC-machined double shear design for ease of installation, high strength, and choice of outside bushing material. But we do suggest using with (BMW rear trailing arm bushing # 33326775551) for best performance.
    • Easy adjustment. Our main adjustment point is out by the wheel so there is no need to work around the exhaust or subframe to adjust camber.

    Made in the USAThe ORIGINAL rear trailing arm bushing / RTAB shim kit -- and still the best! The Turner rear trailing-arm bushing limiter kit creates a stiffer rear suspension without sacrificing ride quality. Stock trailing arm bushings are known for failure, on both the E36 and E46 BMW chassis. This kit is a perfect upgrade from stock, as it reduces bushing deflection, dramatically increases bushing life, improves handling, and all without the harshness of "race-only" bushings, and while maintaining completely silent operation -- no squeaks and no vibration, whatsoever.

    By combining these limiters with stock bushings, this is a great low cost and effective suspension performance enhancer. Each pair of blue aluminum "shims" essentially sandwich the stock rubber bushing to control their lateral movement. By limiting the amount of side-to-side play of the stock bushing, drivers will have increased driver feel thanks to the reduction of toe variation caused by the squirm of the stock rubber bushings. This also reduces duress on the bushing, giving your newly installed bushings a dramatically longer lifespan (a welcome benefit for both pure street or tracked cars). Some stock class racing series even allow this kind of modification, because the stock bushing is still being used.

    Kit includes: 4-Blue anodized aluminum bushing limiters, eight 5mm allen bolts and a drilling template.

    Whether it is installing new wider wheels, tires, brake ducts, shocks, or springs, there could be a rubbing issue on the inside of your fender well. Our rack stops will help protect your investment. You can save the costs of replacing rubbing tires, worn out brake ducts, cut shock reservoir hoses, and broken underside plastic panels. There is also the added benefit of knowing you can turn the steering wheel to full lock and not be worried that the wheels will rub. Our rack stop length is the approximate length that will be removed from the outside tire wall’s path.     These springs have become the "standard" in BMW Club racings JS class - We designed these springs around BMW's own Group N springs. BMW's springs were designed to compete in Europe's production-based Group N racing series. Our springs are a progressive-rate spring with a range from 200 lb/inch up to 900 lb/inch. There is also a large ratio of rear to front stiffness which will help eliminate understeer. These springs will lower a stock M3 by about 1.50" front and 1.25" rear but they work on any E30. Although you can buy these springs as only a set, we strongly recommend installing in conjunction with our modified Bilstein shocks at the same time.
