If the indicator on your dashboard is on alerting you to replace brake pads soon, you will also need to replace the pad wear sensor. If the indicator alerting you to a malfunction with your BMWs ABS sensor you may need to replace one of these. There is one sensor per wheel.

(more info) This is a replacement DSC/ABS control unit for Bosch 5.7 ABS modules. It controls the AS & DSC functions on BMW E38, E39 and Z8 models from 1999 on.
This unit comes uncoded and will have to be encoded by a local BMW dealer to properly function.
