Many large sockets use a 3/4" drive, especially for wheel bearing nuts. Don't be left hanging during your work without the proper size ratchet or adapter. This .5 to .75 adapter will fit on your 1/2" drive ratchet or breaker bar. Made in Germany.

Why buy two tools when you can get one that will do many jobs like this open end wrench? It is great for removing and installing the fan clutch and plastic oil filter cap. Also works great for removing and installing the vanos solenoid on M50 engine family. Use the same tools the Turner Motorsport techs use!

Most BMWs have a 7mm female hex bolt for their caliper guide bolt (what the caliper slides in and out on). And most common hex / Allen socket sets include a 7mm. But one problem you may find yourself in is that the rear shock interferes with the rear caliper guide bolts. Most off-the-shelf sockets are too long overall to fit in between the shock body and where the guide bolt is. This 'stubby' 7mm Allen is the perfect solution. It takes a 3/8 drive and stands 32mm tall (a comparable Craftsman is over 45mm). The Allen section itself is 13mm which allows it to fully engage the guide bolt and leave the minimum amount hanging outside for your ratchet.

Since the 7mm caliper guide bolt is used on almost all BMWs built since 1982, this tool will prove to be extremely useful to any DIYer. 7mm caliper socket applies to the following BMW models:

Bilstein Coil Over wrench set for some PSS, PSS9 and PSS10 kits. This is the second generation "M Mobility Kit" from BMW. Unlike the older, more expensive kit, the tire sealant and air compressor of this can be used seperately, meaning the air compressor can be used for occasion inflation (without needing to pump in sealant fluid). This kit is an absolute MUST HAVE on all newer BMW's that come equipped with run-flat tires and no spare tire. It can also be a life-saver on any other BMW, even if you're not running fun flats or have a spare tire.

The kit consists of a convenient zip-up nylon storage bag which contains a portable 12 volt DC air compressor (with pressure gauge), one bottle of tire puncture repairing sealant gel, universal compressor adapters, valve stem removal tool, one pair of stretch-fit black gloves to keep your hands clean, and an instruction manual to guide you through the process of performance a roadside tire repair on your BMW. If you have ever attempted to do a valve job or cylinder head gasket project on an M42, M44, M50, or M52 engine you know that the repair manual will refer to the special BMW timing tool kit. This tool kit includes a flywheel locating lock pin, and a special set of camshaft locators that lock the cams in a precise location. The tools are very easy to install. The kit is specifically designed to hold the engine and cams in proper timing during the cylinder head removal and re installation process. This avoids the chance of bending the valves doing the head install process. The precision ground holding blocks lock over the square ends of both intake and exhaust cams. The CNC machined flywheel locating pin passes through a hole in the rear of the engine block and passed through a machined hole in the flywheel.

To avoid improper cam timing on the latest BMW engines, the factory has devised a cam timing system that locks the crankshaft and cams into a specific position prior to cylinder head removal. This method was devised to avoid any misalignment, resulting in piston to valve damage. Unfortunately without these tools re-timing the camshafts after a valve job is almost impossible. The factory specification manual does not supply installation specifications. This cam timing kit includes all the necessary components to do the job.

Removal of the BMW differential drain plug requires a special male, hex-drive socket. This 14mm tool will fit any 3/8" drive ratchet.

If you are a do-it-youself, or do much wrench turning, then you know about Loctite. You also know a little goes a long way. When installing an aftermarket camshafts into a M52TU, M54 engine you need to remove the helix from the stock camshafts and install it on the new camshafts. But the helix does need to be installed with the proper orientation. The proper helix to camshaft placement is important for timing. BMW owners should have a great interest in this tool. Your BMW's Check Engine light (or "Service Engine Soon" light) can mean any number of things. CBS stands for "Conditions Based Service": CBS has replaced the SI (oilservice / Inspection) system, becoming standard equipment on many models in 2005 and later. People often confuse the Oilservice and Inspection lights with the CBS system, however it is important to note that they are entirely different. Our tools will not reset the CBS maintenance lights. If you have a 2005 or later (or a 745 of any year) it is important to be able to tell them apart. The most notable difference between the CBS system and the SI (oilservice and inspection) system is the oil change reminder (CBS will say "oil") (SI will say "oilservice"). Other visible differences exist to help you tell CBS from SI: such as a more detailed listing of the maintenance that needs to be done: Where the SI system will simply say "Inspection", the CBS system will list detailed items on your dash, such as fluids, belts, etc…

We highly recommend using a stretch gauge when installing rod bolts and other fasteners, where it is possible to measure the length of the fastener. It is the most accurate way of measuring preload of any bolt. Simply follow manufacturer's instructions, or use the chart in the ARP catalog for ARP rod bolts. When using a stretch gauge it's best to measure the fastener prior to starting and monitor overall length during installation. When the bolt has stretched a specified amount, the correct preload or clamping force has been applied. We recommend that you maintain a chart of all rod bolts and make a note of the fastener length prior to installation and after any disassembly. If there is a permanent increase of .0005? or more in length, there is a deformation and the bolt should be replaced.

This tool assists in the installation of spark plugs in the 2006 and newer BMW 6 cylinder engines (such as the N52 and N54 engine). If you are installing spark plugs on an E90/E92 3 series, or a 2006+ E60 5 series, you'll want this tool to guide the spark plug carefully into the head.

If you're changing spark plugs on any of the following BMWs listed (below), you should consider adding this tool to your toolbox, as it makes getting the spark plug threaded into the head much easier and safer. We also highly recommend the special thin walled spark plug socket, part#83300495560, as well as a either a torque wrench or the BMW torque adapter tool (part# 83300491130) to apply the proper torque to each spark plug (23nm or 17 lb-ft).

If you are replacing OEM spark plugs on a 2006 or newer 6 cylinder turbo then you most likely need this socket 3/8 drive socket tool which works on the 12-point non-standard spark that came on most N54 engines. This very slim-walled 12 point socket allows you to use a standard 3/8 drive socket wrench & extension to remove and install factory BMW spark plugs on the N54 based engines, as found on all E90 and E92 335i and all 2006+ E60 535i, Z4 3.5i, with turbo motor. Many aftermarket and replacement spark plugs for these engines still use the standard 6 point style plugs, so if you are removing or installing a set of aftermarket plugs (Bosch, NGK, etc) a standard 6 point will likely work.

If you're changing the original set of spark plugs on any of the following BMWs listed (below), you will most likely need this socket (if in doubt, please check your existing plugs, to avoid restocking fees on returned tools). This socket also has internal guides, which help keep the spark plug aligned with the socket, making the job easier. We also recommend the spark plug installer, part#83300496065, which allows you to guide the spark plug down the into the head of the engine, as well as a either a torque wrench or the BMW torque adapter tool (part# 83300491130) to apply the proper torque to each spark plug (23nm or 17 lb-ft).

If you have ever tried to change your spark plugs in a S14 or S38 you need the factory spark plug tool or a thin wall socket. Many times the factory tool is missing or broken form the tool kit in the trunk of the car. Well here is the socket for you!!! It is a 11/16 socket for a 3/8 drive ratchet. Another feature is an internal magnet that holds the spark plug in place so the electrode will not be damaged from falling out of the socket.

This tool was developed by the TMS race crew for multiple applications, such as centering the steering rack, centering the steering wheel, and attaining repeatable alignments. This results in significant time savings when doing street or track suspension setups.

A centered steering rack prevents handling issues such as uneven bump steer, inconsistent steering resistance and unequal turning radius left to right. With this tool, every alignment will have the rack in the same place every time, which can save time when doing a quick check of toe after a hard day at the track or on the street. If your steering rack is in the same place for every alignment then the steering wheel will also be in the same place, hence eliminating the need to reset the steering wheel. Every time a toe adjustment is done and the tie rod is moved without the alignment tool, it moves the steering rack, resulting in having to recheck all alignment numbers after each adjustment, resulting in having to set up the alignment equipment after every adjustment. Every time a toe adjustment is done and the tie rod is moved without the alignment tool, it moves the steering rack, resulting in having to recheck all alignment numbers after each adjustment, resulting in having to set up the alignment equipment after every adjustment. This is the new evolution of our popular Brake Bleeder Bottle. The latest design features a one-way check valve inside the bottle that is operated when you pump the brakes. This is a more economical and simpler system than other "1 man bleeding" kits - no modification to your brake system and you only have to buy the one bottle. The newest bottles also include upgraded caps and fittings for a tighter seal.

The one-way check valve works like most other systems on the market - attach the bottle and hose, open your bleed screw, and pump your brakes from the pedal. The check valve opens with each pump to let fluid and air out of the system and then seals tight when the pedal is released. The bottle uses a large magnet to conveniently stick to your brake disc while you run the hose to the caliper.

Works on just about all brake systems so no need to have specialized adapters or bleed screws.

Replacing the fan clutch on most BMW models requires holding the water pump pulley while removing the fan clutch lock nut. With less than 1 1/2" clearance on some models this project can easily turn into a mechanical nightmare. Using our special slim line fan clutch wrench in conjunction with the appropriate pulley spanner, the removal and installation required only a few moments.

This old-fashioned tool serves a number of purposes - A) It's a must-have for changing wheels. B) It's also useful for mocking a wheel on the hub to measure for spacer thickness. It's inserted into one of the bolt holes by hand and easily slides out when done.

A) This wheel pin (wheel stud) makes changing wheels a snap. When it's pressed into the wheel hub, the new wheel slides right over it and each bolt hole lines up perfectly. No more wrangling with a wheel/tire to get the bolts to line up! After installing your other wheel bolts, slide this out of the wheel and replace it with the last wheel bolt. We love this tool over all others because it's so easy to use. This tool slides into the bolt hole - it's not threaded so there's no danger of cross-threading or damaging the threads inside. And it's not affected by rust or other contaminants. Most BMW tool kits come with this tool already so it's easy to store and every BMW mechanic will be familiar with it.

B) If you're trying to figure out what size spacer to use this tool can make things easier. With the pin pressed in to the hub you can then slide M12 washers over it to mimic the thickness of a spacer. The extra length of this pin allows you to slide the wheel back/forth to set the positon of the wheel. Measure the thickness of your washers and that's your spacer size! For this procedure, it's recommended that you have 2 of these pins so the wheel does not rotate out of position.
