Sport / Lowering Springs
H&R Sport Springs lower the vehicle center of gravity and reduce body roll for better handling. The progressive spring rate design provides superb ride quality and comfort. A lower wind resistance signature will make the vehicle more streamlined and improve gas mileage. If you are only looking to improve one part of your vehicle’s suspension, you cannot go wrong with installing Sport Springs. Fun to drive, H&R Sport Springs are the number one upgrade for your vehicle.

We've installed these on our own 2008 M3 sedan project car (the white car pictured) and love the way these spring feel. They transform the handling into more of what (we feel) an M car should feel like -- sharp cornering with only a small sacrifice in ride quality. The ride is still very compliant and well suited for city streets, keeping the ride quality very close to the stock ride comfort even with 20" wheels! Now that's a well engineered set of springs!

Looking for a more aggressive stance and tighter handling? H&R Sport springs offer the perfect balance between performance minded driving and everyday comfort. Designed and tested in-house, these springs have been meticulously tuned to maximize the potential of your cars OE suspension without sacrificing ride quality or safety.
These springs will lower the vehicle approx. 1.5" in the front and 1.6" in the rear. This gives a more aggressive stance and lowers the center of gravity for drastically reduced body roll. While still being a progressive spring, they offer the comfort and control of a stock coil spring with a slightly higher rate. This increased spring rate helps the vehicle respond quicker to steering inputs and gives the chassis a more "athletic" feel.
Although they will function well on stock dampers, we recommend swapping for a set of Bilstien B8 as they are made to be used with lowering springs. Stock struts have a tendancy to bottom out when lowered with srings which can cause the suspension to actually ride on the rubber bump stop when taking corners. Using a set of struts made to work with lower springs will allow you to maximize the potential of this upgrade and will completely transform the handling characterisitcs of your vehicle
H&R Sport springs are engineered to bring you the highest possible quality. These springs are perfect for BMWs that are daily driven, or see occasional track use. If you seek better handling and a sportier appearance, these are the springs you need.
