If you're looking for a significant bump in power you need not look any further than a TMS Performance Chip. Designed to maximize the advantage of premium fuel, Performance Chips safely alter the fuel and timing maps which results in more power and a smoother engine. These chips were tuned by Jim Conforti on the dyno with fantastic results. What you feel is more power starting at 3500 RPM and continuing up to the new rev limit of 7000. There is no downside - only an awakened engine and a car with new life!

Performance software is the key to unlocking the power that BMW left on the table. For the US market the factory software is set for 87 octane fuel. But the engine is capable of producing so much more! We make adjustments to the fuel, ignition, and camshaft timing data at part throttle and full throttle to take advantage of premium 91+ octane fuel. We dial in the settings so that more power is made at all RPM. What you'll notice is more power and torque at wide open throttle and even when driving around town. The engine will run smoother with better throttle response and less hesitation. We keep the factory safeguards in place so there is no long term engine damage or negative side effects. It's not just gaining power back - it's better than when it left the factory!

We're also able to tune for all of the popular M50 engine upgrades -

• lightweight flywheel - adds 100 RPM to idle
• stock E36 M3 camshafts - these work GREAT for producing more top end power. We adjust the maps to take advantage of higher lift and duration
• sport exhaust - additional tuning for cat-back exhausts​
