TMS E36/E46/Z4 Adjustable Rear Camber Arms (Pair)
TMS E36/E46/Z4 Adjustable Rear Camber Arms (Pair)
Part #: TSU9940001
Applications: 1992 - 2005 (E36 E46 Z4)

Made in the USA

A top seller! The Turner Motorsport Adjustable Rear Camber Arms are the only adjustable arms approved for Grand-Am Koni Challenge Racing - E46 M3, E46 330i, and Z4! (bushing end only)

Why you should use Turner Motorsport camber arms on your car:

  • If you have a lowered car and have run out of adjustment with the stock camber arms.
  • If you have a track car and are looking for increased camber adjustment, light weight, stronger components, and increased suspension handling.
  • TMS offers two bushing styles to meet your needs. (A solid Rod-end or Rubber Bushing end)
  • The high range of adjustment allows a full racecar setup or a heavily lowered car to maintain factory pecifications.
  • Only high quality and high strength materials and components are used.
  • Aluminum camber arms are designed as a lightweight component thereby reducing wear and tear on other, more critical parts (rear subframe, control arm bushings, etc) Each camber arm weighs only 2.5 lbs making for a total of 5 lbs for both parts (stock camber arms weigh 3 lbs each)
  • TMS Camber Arms use hardcoat anodized aluminum, stainless steel turnbuckles, and stainless rod ends to all but eliminate corrosion from getting into the threads and making adjustment difficult.
  • CNC-machined double shear design for ease of installation, high strength, and choice of outside bushing material. But we do suggest using with (BMW rear trailing arm bushing # 33326775551) for best performance.
  • Easy and simple to adjust, our main adjustment point is out by the wheel so there is no need to work around the exhaust or subframe to adjust camber.
  • All hardware is included with the kit.
  • A Turner Motorsport product, Made in the USA.

Pros and cons of bushing deflection.
  • Bushing deflection with a rubber material is good for absorbing vibrations and noises. This helps in maintaining the excellent ride/handling characteristics of the stock car.
  • However bushing deflection is unwanted on a race or track vehicle because it leads to excess suspension movement. This is bad for handling, due to constant camber and toe changes. Plus, any power from the engine can take longer to get to the ground because it has to windup the bushing first.
Why is friction or force bad?
  • Any time you have friction or force from a bushing it will cause the suspension to react slowly, and that is not what you want.
  • How does this correlate to our 2 styles of bushings?

a. Bonded rubber bushings require more force to deflect the elastic rubber materials from their static state.

b. Spherical bearings with PTFE lining require the least amount of force because the spherical bearing has less surface area and the PTFE liner has a low coefficient of friction. Plus no extra force or friction is generated due to elimination of the high bearing misalignment design. This eliminates the performance-robbing characteristics of a rubber bushing.

Definition for Bearing Misalignment: Rigid bushings and bearings are often designed to work on a single axis and as long as loads are applied along that axis, all is good. When loads are applied to a bushing or bearing off its axis, increased friction or binding will occur. This off axis loading will cause bearing misalignment.
