I've been a long time customer of Turner's products, however having now been
there for service for the first time, I can say that there is absolutely no
disappointment. I am very grateful for you all being able to fit me in on such
short notice, and you all did an excellent job. As someone who works in a
customer service first business, I have to hand it to you guys for being very
polite, informative, and accommodating. Any BMW service in the area I will
recommend to you due to this, not to mention very good pricing with regards to
service, and also going the extra mile with regards to the customer. Once again
thanks, and have a great one until I see you again.

I normally purchse from Bav Auto (sorry guys) but I was needing help making
some decisions and was not having much luck. So I called TMS and spoke with Doug.
Doug actually took time to help me make an informed decision and helped me layout a plan of what performance
parts to buy, in what order and why. I apprecaited the service so I am buying this product from TMS.

I wanted to say thanks for developing the Group N suspesnion for the E36 M3.
I stuck it on my car and dropped 2 seconds a lap at Infinion. Then I stuck
on the Hankook C51 tires (similar to Hoosier I guess) and dropped another 2
seconds. I just ran a 1:51 flat on the normal config with carosel and this
is good for the lap record in a very fast time trials group.
So thanks for the recommendation. But please don't tell any of my

Subject: Just a little feedback.......
Greetings,
Richard B. here, fairly long time CCA'er('91). Although I have been a TMS
mail customer in the past, I recently had work done in your shop for the first
time and thought you might like some feedback. I brought my '95M3 in for
reinforcements before a planned winter project suspension upgrade. I drove the
car up from CT and stayed overnight, so basically, I was in your guys hair for
two days (Nov 30/Dec 1). Kevin Holmes handled my questions both before hand via
email and in person as the work was done with patience and good humor. This was
not easy, as I tend to be the type with lots of questions and I'm a
little.....uh.....particular, would be a generous way to put it (my wife would
use much stronger language). I am singling out Kevin for ridicule since he was
my primary contact, but actually everyone that I had contact with at TMS handled
themselves in a way that made me feel comfortable and happy that I choose your
shop for the work. The work was done quite efficiently so there was time to add
on the oil pan baffle kit and "secure" the oil pump nut while the
front subframe was off the car. And while I don't know anything about the
business end of running a shop, I think I have been around enough specialty car
shops over the years to know when I'm getting good value for my "car
budget" dollar. And that's exactly how I felt when the tab was added up: I
feel like I got a lot of quality work done in a short time for a very good
price. So Kudos to you for running such an operation.
Richard B.
PS Thanks for all you've done over the years for the CCA and for the marque
in general.

Hi,
I recently purchased a Conforti ecu eprom chip from you folks for a
1994 530i V8. The car drives like it's brand new now. And I am
noticing that I'm getting better gas mileage with the increased responsiveness.
It's like it's not crippled anymore. No more feeling like I need to push the
thing constantly to hold acceleration.
I also would like to say that your sales/tech staff are very helpful.
They are young guys that seem to know what the hell they're doing. That's
really hard to find in any industry. Please treat them well. I don't want to
talk to India the next time I call. These guys knew their stuff and what they
didn't know, they found out upstream. Very professional.
My car is now more responsive, more fuel efficient, and smoother at idle.
Thank you gents.

Subject: recent work/upgrades
Hello everyone,
I just wanted to drop a note about my recent service/upgrade experience at
TMS. Turner is located over two hours away from where I live yet dealing with
getting the car there and picking it up was well worth it! Kevin, in service,
was extremely helpful from the very beginning in choosing what parts and
upgrades would suit my needs on my '98 M3 sedan. When I brought the car in,
everything was thoroughly prepared for me and the car actually went in the shop
while I was still there. The work was completed in a timely fashion and the car
was ready on time. Not only do these two events rarely occur in today's
"service" arena of shops, but all the parts and work, appear and
perform as advertised, discussed, and anticipated! I have driven well over 2
million miles and owned numerous interesting vehicles. I have dealt with many
marque dealerships and numerous private shops throughout the Northeast and I
can't say that I have EVER had an equal, never mind better, experience with a
service shop! So thank you one and all at Turner Motorsport, and I will happily
return to your facility for future work and give you folks glowing reviews to
any one who will listen!
Thanks again,

Subject: Re: E36 M3 Track upgrades
Doug: I wanted to update you on the track performance of my 95 E-36 after we
installed suspension parts you recommended. Briefly, our 95 E-36 M3 with 36K
mileage seemed to be rather twitchy on the track, and took a huge amount of
attention to manage the transitions (and keep pointed in the general direction
we intended). After adding the front X-brace and solid trailing arm links, the
car developed the snap oversteer, which we discussed a few weeks ago. I'm
sending you this feedback fyi so you can add this to your own personal
knowledgebase.
Our objective was to see if we could clean up our act at the track, and maintain
as much street character and curb clearance as possible. We installed the TMS
chassis reinforcement kits front in front, but found that BMW motorsports had
installed the reinforcements in the rear. We installed the aluminum/rubber rear
shock mounts, bushings, and the new contained-rubber trailing arm links at the
rear, and front bushings in front. We installed a set of the TMS sway bars. We
elected to save front shock tower reinforcement install until we put the
adjustable shock mounts and new sport shocks in.
Track performance was improved 90% with transitions being very easy to manage,
flat, tenacious cornering, and very little rebound (with existing original
shocks and springs). In fact, the car was pretty quick, even surprising me with
some scary fast trips through a favorite chicane at Firebird Main in Phoenix -
all on cheap street tires.
The only remaining issue is that the car does have a little rake, as the rear
ride height appears to be a little higher than the front, which I expect is the
correct factory M3 setup. This seems to cause just a little tail wiggle. Under
threshold braking, track variations would sometimes twitch the back one way,
just before I would turn in, sending the rear the other way. I learned to turn
in just a touch during heavy braking to trigger the wiggle in the direction it
would go at the real turn in point. Worked great. We are hoping to retain the
stock ride height (especially the front curb clearance), but may consider
dropping the back just a touch to see if we take the little touch of tail
happiness out.
Over all, I would say the addition of the new compressed rubber trailing arm
links, rear shock mounts, bushings and TMS sway bar kit has been a killer
success. On the street I have no additional noise, although the tar strips on
the pavement are a bit more firm. This is a joy to drive. Thanks for the counsel
and the neat products.

October 2, 2005 was a perfect day for records to fall at Watkins Glen , New
York. Freshly vacuumed track, 59 degrees, and a bright sun warming the surface.
The event was a 45 minute sprint race run by BMW CCA club racing at 10 A.M.
The car is a 1995 BMW M3 made into a M3 lightweight in H stock. This M3 had
been a very sick example till it received the Turner stock Suspension and Jim
Conforti's software from Turner.
Each year this car ran better and faster with prefect reliability. The new
Goodyear's completed the package and contributed to a lap of 2:16.23.
This is a Hs record and probably a street stock track record. Yes the car is
licensed, inspected, insured, and totally street legal. Yes my insurance agent
lost his hair. He will remain nameless.
Street stock is defined many way's ,but regardless this is a very fast street
car. Especially in the rain when a stiffer prepared suspension causes panic. I
have stayed in stock class because of this great suspension and the reliability
of a stock setup.

Will, I just wanted to send a thank you to you and your team at Turner
Motorsport. I really appreciate the great lengths that your company, and very
special people in that company, go to treat us. Not just as another customer,
but as a valued friend of Turner Motorsport.
As always, picking my car up was fantastic. Since I decided to make the trip
rather unexpectedly, Dave was willing to go above and beyond the call to stay
late, and allow me to get my car that same day, even though it was rather late
in the evening (7:30pm), and everyone had gone home for the day. The car was as
promised, and I was VERY pleased with how the work went with it.
I know you might not always get the praise you so richly deserve, but realize
this: My decision as to whom I take my car to for work, is a testament to your
business practices. I would not be willing to drive 435 miles and 6 hours each
way if you were just another "import" shop that "works on
BMW's". I have NEVER been mislead by anyone at your shop about anything,
and feel a certain bond to the real enthusiasts that work there. All the people
in sales, Doug, and Drew especially for taking time to answer my questions about
parts from time to time. The guys in service, especially Kevin (for being so
patient with me), but also Dave, and Stefan, and anyone else who has worked on
our vehicles, have been great. And especially to you, for taking a chance all
those years ago, and starting your own business. The BMW community is a much
better place with Turner Motorsport a part of it.
Many thanks from my family to yours for another job well done. And as always,
when it comes time to have major work done on my car, Turner Motorsport will
always be my first and only choice for that work. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Trevor and Family

Just wanted to take the time to say how satisfied I was with the service,
products and the tech help that I got using Turner. First off the products that
purchased for my 95 M3(alum. thermo housing, Water pump, CAI intake kit w/Conforti
chip and euro HFM) came in on the exact day that was predicted and was packaged
well enough to survive the trip. All of the parts fit perfectly and the
installation instructions were just enough help to make the installation of the
CAI kit go smoothly. When unpacking a seal for the air box was missing and with
a call and a short conversation the part was on it's way and delivered in time
for my weekend installation plans.
The CAI kit made a noticeable difference in the performance of my 95 M3 which
is a low mileage one owner very well maintained car. The car now has a much
stronger low end pull with a smooth yet strong pull through out the RPM range. I
have not tracked it yet but will in April.
The tech support that I needed was minimal but answered with clear and easy
to understand description.
Thanks I will be a long time customer.

arrive tomorrow as scheduled. Realizing I would have minimal time to “dial it
in”, Kevin even gave me initial setup info for the adjustable bars, alignment
settings, and break in instructions for the Hawk Blue pads.
I look forward to proceeding with the “future items” Kevin suggested. Again,
I wish to thank you for the high caliber personal and quality components. In
closing I would like to mention what a pleasure it is dealing with an
organization that actually races, unlike the “Gold Chain” group down the
street from me in Mountain View, CA.
Sincerely,
Rob

IT IS FRUSTRATING TO HEAR THAT YOU GUYS ARE PENALIZED WITH SUCH DRASTIC
ENGINE LIMITATIONS AND WEIGHT ADDITIONS JUST BECAUSE YOU GUYS PUT TOGETHER SUCH
A GREAT RACE CAR. THESE "REWARDS" DO NOT SEEM TO BREED GREATER
COMPETITION THROUGHOUT THE CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES. IT IS ALMOST AS IF THE LEAGUE
OFFICIALS ARE SAYING IT IS O.K. THAT THE OTHER TUNERS AND MANUFACTURERS CAN'T
PRODUCE A RACE CAR THAT CAN COMPETE WITH THE TURNER MOTORSPORT BMWS. WHAT
INCENTIVE DOES THIS GIVE THE OTHER TEAMS TO BUILD A BETTER, MORE ADVANCED
MACHINE? IT SEEMS TO ME THAT THE OFFICIALS ARE PUNISHING THOSE WITH THE BEST
DRIVERS AND OR PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS. IT IS VERY IMPRESSIVE TO SEE HOW WELL YOU
GUYS PERFORM WEEK-IN AND WEEK-OUT AND SPEAKS VOLUMES FOR YOUR COMPANY. EVEN IF
THE REWARDS SYSTEM DOESN'T CHANGE, I AM SURE THE TURNER MOTORSPORT CREW WILL
FIND A WAY TO OVERCOME THIS CHALLENGE.
I HAVE BEEN VERY SATISFIED WITH EVERY PRODUCT I HAVE ORDERED THROUGH YOUR
ESTABLISHMENT AND EVERY TRANSACTION HAS BEEN VERY SMOOTH FROM THE BEGINNING TO
THE END. I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO PURCHASING A CONFORTI ENGINE PERFORMANCE CHIP
AND A COLD-AIR INTAKE FROM YOU GUYS IN THE NEAR FUTURE FOR MY 94 325I AND AM
SURE I AM GOING TO BE JUST AS HAPPY WITH THEM. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

To the TMS Crew,
First off, thanks for the quick shipping process. The TMS chip that I ordered
was received in about four days from time of order, great service and
professionalism from Doug. The instructions were given in good attention to
detail. The whole installation took 15 minutes tops and what a difference for
the finished product. I don't know how Jim C did it but he sure did. I can
notice power and torque at all ranges, especially after about 3k rpm, it
screams. I would recommend anyone that wants a more responsive BMW to purchase
the chip, you can't go wrong. Thank you for your help and I will surely be doing
more business in the near future. If you all know of any more performance
enhancements on the 318 please inform me b/c it is regularly put in autocross
meets. Thanks Again!
Respectfully Submitted,

I just wanted to extend a thank you to you and your very valuable &
knowledgeable staff for the fantastic work performed on my e36m3 recently.
I had my first track day this year yesterday at NHIS and the car handled with
total predictability...that is, of course, until I started melting the tires (90
degrees ambient) I was having so much fun.
Please make sure that Stefan Foord acknowledges a copy of this email as
well. He is a valuable asset to Turner motorsport. We had a good chat
about my car yesterday post session. I appreciate his work.
Will, give the man a raise!

Just a quick note to thank you and your staff for your efforts in
getting my exhaust squared away, specifically with Drew in working some of the
details with the techs. BMW of Nashville techs are real 'gearheads' and Jim the
Master Tech you and Drew have talked to was actually sent to Germany by BMW NA
to take part in a competition last year. They also gave me a 330Ci loaner
vehicle to drive home. I think you can see the reason I drive from the
Huntsville Alabama area 2 hours to Nashville to have my work done my car and my
wife's 528i, especially since we have a BMW dealer here locally.
I got the FedEx notifications and the dealership is expecting them around
10:30 or so this morning. Your company definitely takes customer service to a
high level. I'll be recommending you to our BMW owners in our club (as I have
already) and purchasing more parts from you in the future (l/w flywheel and
clutch --- already talked to Drew about them). I'll give you a quick call when
all is installed and I've driven it back to Alabama to let you know how I like
it and I'm sure I will.
Our club looks forward to seeing you at Barber later this year.
BTW, know anyone who wants to buy a Dinan exhaust for an E46? ;)

I feel compelled to share my outstanding experience with all of you. I
purchased via phone a Conforti intake kit for my 2003 325i last Friday. There
are several different models on the market and many places I could buy it but I
found your website to be very comprehensive, had the best price and the
pre-sales phone support I received was exemplary. Your staff were very well
versed on my needs and the installation for my car. My order was processed
quickly and I received it on time. I proceeded with the installation and found
what I believed to be a part missing. Yesterday I called you to report this and
within an hour I received a call from the manufacturer to help me figure out the
problem. I called you this morning and learned the part would be drop-shipped to
me and I received it just now. I also had a nice discussion with one of
your sales staff about my next purchase, an exhaust system.
Although my order experience didn't go perfectly, the assistance and
attention I received leaves me with great satisfaction in dealing with your
company, I shall be a loyal customer from now on and will tell all my friends
about TMS as well. Thanks again and best of luck at the racetrack, I'll be
rooting for you all.

Doug,
I want to thank you for the wonderful service that I have received. I ordered
a performance chip for my 1987 M6 BMW from your website. The experience was
really wonderful. You guys rate extremely high in customer satisfaction in my
eyes. The order shipped on time and I was able to track it with no problem. It
actually arrived a few hours earlier than noted on the Fed Ex tracking page.
I installed the chip immediately and took the car for a drive. I was totally
amazed!! I am an old drag racer from the early 1960's (1962 Chevy 409). The
difference in performance was truly amazing. It is still hard for me to imagine
that just replacing a chip could result in such an increase in performance.
Where were you guys back in the 60's?? Just kidding. I am now contemplating
whether to install a chip in my wife's M5.
Thank you for the wonderful experience.

Thank you very much for the response. I can say with complete confidence that
you guys, (Turner Motorsports) are the best online auto retailer out there. I
have made purchases from many online auto retailers (specifically BMW
aftermarket retailers). You guys @ Turner Motorpsorts are leaps and bounds above
the rest. A class "a" business in an industry full of unprofessional
retailers. Thank you for your timely and accurate communication and delivery.

Doug,
Today I returned from a trip and noted that my cold air intake had arrived. I
installed it without problems and it is more than I expected. Since I have other
modifications to the engine, this was really the last thing I needed. Now the
engine "breathes" better, and I really like the roar during upper RPM
wide open throttle. THAT I didn't expect or notice until I accelerated onto the
highway.
Since I am familiar with the E36 engine, I was able to succeed with the
project, however, some of the pictures in the directions are quite dark and
delayed my progress. This may prove confusing for others who are not
E36-educated, so you may wish to lighten the colour for those customers.
Lastly, I want to thank you for the shipping credit you issued. The credit
was provided since the cold air intake did not arrive last Friday as originally
scheduled. Although you really didn't need to go that extra mile, it is
appreciated.
I had always planned on buying only THIS intake, and this excellent customer
service just proves why I bought it from the right company. Count on my
promotion of your products with my car club friends. Please forward this e-mail
to your President, and please confirm that you received this e-mail.
Thank you,

Subject: Fabulous
Will,
I ran the car at Nelson's Ledges all weekend. Cooked the other J-Stock E30
M3s! Ran like a champ. Really a fabulous drive. Seat is tight but seems
okay (I need a reason to lower my personal contribution to bhp/lb anyway.) Rest
is really terrific. Good mix of balance, stick and tossability.
There was a TC Kline prepped E46 330 that was wicked fast (easily faster than
us E30 M3s.) Any ideas on where the weaknesses in those cars are would be
appreciated. In your opinion, was the wicked fast a function of driver, or was
it something about the kinetics of that car? Seemed like he was running well
ahead of the rest of us (I was turning 121s and he was 119s - everyone else was
in the 124-125 range.)
Final question concerning tires. Given the car's setup, what would be good
pressures to run (on average ... I realize brand, track, etc. all change the
requirements, but a starting point would be helpful.)
Thanks again for pulling the car together. It was definitely worth the wait.
