As used by Turner Motorsport on our championship winning BMW race cars, the new aerodynamically efficient and asthetically styled AeroCatch® is setting new standards in hood fixing for the 21st century. Say goodbye to your standard hood pins -- these are better all around.

AeroCatch Animation
The AeroCatch is available in two installation styles:
1.) TOP MOUNT - Mounts from the exterior surface of the hood. This style makes for an easier installation.
2.) BOTTOM MOUNT - Mounts flush from the interior side of the hood. This style is slightly harder to mount, but makes for less exposed surface of the AeroCatch fastener.

Each AeroCatch hood fastener kit comes complete with two AeroCatch assemblies, all pins, washers, nuts and bushings, as well as mounting template and installation instructions. Professional installation recommended. We have found these to be the best hood fasteners, and have since replaced all standard racing hood pins on our E46, E90 and E92 race cars in favor of these superior design. These save us precious time in pit stops and offer a more fail-safe mechanism. We recommend them for any car.

    TMS E36 & Z3 Carbon Brake Backing Plates
    The TMS carbon brake backing plates are made of pure carbon with Kevlar for reinforcement and high temperature resin. Our unique design specifically for the E36 / E36M3 and Z3 (including MZ3) is optimized for 3” hose and allows the air to flow directly to the rotor with no impedance and weigh a considerable amount less compared to competing products. When flow tested compared to a competitor’s product, the TMS ducts flowed twice as much. This greatly reduces the chance of brake fade, boiling the brake fluid, and wear and tear on your brake components. Our manufacturer is an experienced known composite company that works with many ALMS race teams. Installation is easy as it does not require removal of the wheel bearing.

    The TMS E46 Racing Brake Duct Kit (Now legal in SCCA's T2 CLASS) includes a pair of TMS E46 Carbon Brake Backing Plates, a pair of TMS E46 Carbon Fiber Brake Ducts, two 4' sections of 3" wire reinforced silicone brake ducting hose and four hose clamps.     TMS E46 Carbon Brake Backing Plates

When flow tested compared to a competitor’s product, the TMS ducts flowed twice as much. This greatly reduces the chance of brake fade, boiling the brake fluid, and wear and tear on your brake components. Installation is easy, as it does not require removal of the wheel bearing. We do this by making the backing plate in two parts. The main backing plate and a block off plate that bolt together. Most companies just have a big slot so you can slide the backing plate on, but then it just lets air flow right out of it. We block off the hole to maximizing brake cooling airflow to the center of the rotor.

    The HP Plus pads were designed for autocross use and are a great pad when a track pad is needed for light use on the street. It was designed specifically for autocross, Solo II, and driver school events.     Dark Blue Sport: Street - This is a high performance compound with low fading characteristics and high cold-friction. The most comfortable medium friction sport compound. The Sport Pad is rotor friendly and suitable for street and light track use!

    Orange RS 4-4: Racing - This compound has a very good fade resistance and a higher average friction value than the RS 4-2. It is rotor friendly with predictable, non-aggressive friction behavior (stable torque). Fading resistance up to 560°C (1.050°F). It is a very good rear compound for Touring Car applications in combination with RS 29 or RS 19 Yellow front pads. It is used on either Short Track or Long Distance. It is also used on BMW Showroom Stock, all other Touring-Cars and Single- Seater up to F3.

    Yellow RS 19: Racing - Pagid's classic compound for endurance racing on the basis of the RS 14. A slight reduction of the friction value improves the modulation (controllability). Constant temperatures up to 600°C (1.100°F) are possible. The combination of friction value, fading stability and low wear rates on pads and discs (rotors) realized with this pad compound is unmatched up to now. Due to its outstanding wear rate and driveability, PAGID endurance materials are often used at sprint races. A multiple winner of Daytona 24h, Le Mans 24h, Sebring 12h, Spa 24 h, Nürburgring 24h, often with no pad change and usually no disc (rotor) change.

    Yellow RS 29: Racing New endurance compound. This compound combines the outstanding wear rate of the RS19 with a slightly higher coefficient of friction and initial bite. Due to its outstanding wear rate and driveability, PAGID endurance materials are often used at sprint races as well.

    Black RS 14: Racing - This is a medium high friction value ceramic type compound with very good modulation, high fade resistance, low heat conductivity, and a good wear rate up to a temperature of 650°C (1.200°F). It is kind on discs, with visible grooving, but a limitation of hairline cracks. Applications include NASCAR, CART, F3, Touring cars, GT cars, WSC, Trans Am and Rally.

    Since Pagid pads tend to "out-gas" we recommend using these pads with a new gas-slotted or cross-drilled rotor for the best performance. Pagid brake pads are not compatible with previously used rotors, especially if used with a carbon or Kevlar based race pad.

    Modern stock brake systems, for the most part, work well for a single 60-0 or 80-0 stop, and average daily street driving. The typical performance enthusiast will quickly push the stock brake system beyond its capabilities. Driving style and other performance modifications such as increased horsepower, tire and suspension upgrades quickly add up to overpowering stock brakes. A big brake kit will provide increased heat capacity, which means substantially more resistance to brake fade and caliper distortion with multiple stops from high speed. A firmer pedal due to stronger and stiffer components, as well as better modulation characteristics under threshold braking are also typical with a properly balanced brake upgrade.     Stainless Steel Clutch Line - E36 M3, 328, 323 (no 325) / E34 540i & 530i (V8)
    This braided stainless steel line replaces the stock hydraulic hose connecting your clutch slave cylinder to the clutch master cylinder. Rubber hoses are known for swelling/deforming under pressure and vacuum, especially with age. This effects pedal feel. A firmer stainless line ensures less deformation and improved pedal feel.

Due to the complex shape of most differentials, they are very hard to tie down in a trailer (a safety issue) and very hard to store or transport without potentially damaging other items in their vacinity.     TMS E36 solid differential bushings are designed around SCCA SPEED World Challenge regulations and have years of street and track testing to prove their performance. Replacing your diff's rubber mounts with this kit will result in a snappier feel when cornering and better suspension performance. This kit will also prevent the front differential mount from loosening up or shearing -- a very common problem with the E36. The rear two differential cover bushings are slotted to allow for compliance between manufacturing standards as BMW specifies.     How does this work? It's easy. We will build your custom differential, which will be shipped directly to you. Your new/rebuilt differential includes a $400 core charge. You can then send us your old/stock differential as a core -- Factory open diffs (non limited slip) are elligible for a $200 credit, factory LSD are elligible for the full $400 credit. All custom diffs receive the same $400 core charge. Cores must be sent to us within 15 days or receiving your rebuilt core. Sorry, no returns on custom built differentials.

    E36 325i/328i/M3 Rogue Enginneering Differential Cover
    Cooling the oil in any track driven car is a must! Just ask any endurance racer. According to Rogue Enginneering, a 30-minute session on the track is enough for fluid to thin out and leak through the differential's vent hole. By expanding the size of the differential cover, Rogue has provided enough room for 1.5 more quarts of fluid (we recommend Redline 75/90 fluid). Combined with the fins on the bottom of the cover, your differential will be significantly cooler and thus, will last longer. BMW uses a very similar cover on the E39 M5, E46 M3, and M Coupe/Roadster. Includes Orginal diff cover mounts, 12.9 grade zinc-plated hardware, and a port for installing a temperature sensor.

    Rebuilt 3.91 or 4.10 Differential for the E46 M3. The shorter 3.91 or 4.10 gearing takes advantage of torque multiplication for a substantial 8% increase in torque delivered to the road. The shorter gearing provides a huge "bang for the buck" in terms of acceleration in the M3. This unit is completly rebuilt with all new factory parts and is sold on an exchange basis, a refundable $1743.50 core charge (we will start with a brand new diff) applies unless you send in your existing diff for rebuild.     E46 M3 Outer CV Boot Housing Rebuild Kit
    Over the years driving and racing the E46 M3 in Grand-Am racing, club racing, driving school events, and street driving, we have found that the half-shafts need to be rebuilt or replaced often. This is especially true of the outer CV joint (closest to the wheel bearing) due to the high loads on the half shafts and elevated temperature in that region. Thanks to our extensive experience in Grand-Am endurance racing, we have designed a kit to prolong CV joint life and save frequent and costly replacing of half shafts, on both street and track/race cars. The problem with rebuilding E46 half-shafts is that the CV joint ("Constant Velocity Joint") closest to the wheel bearing is not serviceable because a stamped steel housing must be cut off to access the CV joint. The housing cannot be reused, therefore necessitating replacement of the whole half-shaft. We have designed a reusable aluminum housing to make servicing the CV joint possible.

    This is a custom Turner Motorsport item, originally designed for our championship-winning Grand-Am M3s. It can also be used in non-racing applications, for both track and street E46 M3s. If you are performing any work on the rear driveline of your E46 M3 (such as wheel bearings, differential work, bushings, rear sway bar, etc) or are prepping for the race season, then now is an excellent time to perform this job as well.

    Kit includes 2 CNC aluminum housings (left and right are the same) with Black anodized coating, 12 set-screws (6 per housing), 2 Viton O-rings, 8 Oetiker clamps, and 4 stainless steel breather tubes (only required for race use).

    Limited Slip Differential Unit for E90/E92 335i (LSD)
    Have you taken your 335i to the track yet? Have you turned off traction control and tried to launch your 335i? Imagine how fast your car would go 0-60mph if both wheels had power going to them! Its unbelievable that such a great performance car is lacking a limited slip -- perhaps BMW didn't want the 335i to be THAT much faster than the previous M3! BMW stopped putting limited slip differentials in all cars in 1995 (except for "M" cars). So, if it’s not an M3 or M5 your car does not have power going to BOTH wheels at the same time. In other words, it is "one wheel drive." This is not good for any type of performance car and if you have taken your car to the track or have auto crossed it you can see why.

    Our limited slip unit for the 335i is a complete assembly (or "chunk") that replaces the "open" differential chunk currently in your diff. This an authentic German made Drexler brand clutch type limited slip (with 45/30 ramping). Drexler worked directly with BMW Motorsport to create this unit, and supplies to such as M-Team Schnitzer. The unit uses the factory bearings, fits into the factory differential housing, reuses the factory ring gear*** and all critical dimensions are close to the factory unit. This makes installation easier, requiring minimal ring and pinion setup time and shimming. Professional installation is recommended, however.

    We sell this part in a few different ways:
    1) As long as you don't have a welded-in ring gear, TMS can install this unit in your car's original differential - You send us your diff and we install the limited slip unit and send the diff back. Some cars are being built with welded ring gear rather than a bolted-together unit.

    2) We can send you a low mileage preowned diff with the limited slip installed - and we charge you a core charge. When you send us back your (non welded ring gear) stock diff we refund the core charge (currently $1600)

    Crank Sensor Adaptor - S54 Sensor into N52 Engine
    Allows the use of a factory S54 crank reference sensor on an N52 based engine. We use this sensor when running non-factory engine management (such as Bosch or MoTeC) on our E90 racecars. This is designed specifically for our E90 328i Grand Am Cup legal racecar with Bosch Motorsport engine management.

    The N52 engine crank sensor is a Hall effect type sensor and the S54 engine crank sensor is an inductive (Mag) type sensor. The advantages to using an inductive type sensor are:
    • Inductive sensor has no active electronics and thus does not require a power supply to operate, making the sensor more reliable.
    • Will hold up to higher operating temperatures better than a Hall effect type sensor, making the sensor more reliable.
    • Will withstand higher vibration levels then a Hall effect type sensor, making the sensor more reliable.
    • There are still a lot of aftermarket ECU’s that cannot operate a Hall effect type sensor, making the use of a Inductive sensor mandatory.
    • A plus to running the S54 crank sensor (BMW P/N 12 14 7 830 789) is that it has been around for a long time and most aftermarket ECU manufacturers will all ready know the correct operating parameters for the sensor, saving you time and frustration.

    TMS Oil Temperature Sensor Flange
    The TMS Oil Temperature Sensor Flange was designed to get your oil temperature from the best possible location: the sump. There are adapters used to fit temperature sensors on engines in many locations, and both the TMS Engineering department and testing on and off the track have shown that this is the best solution. We accomplish this by removing the factory oil level sensor if equipped or block off plate and using the existing hole and bolt pattern on the oil pan with no modifications. Most factory and aftermarket temperature sensors are located after the oil pump, which does not give you an accurate temperature reading of the oil that is actually lubricating the engine. At the stock location the sensor picks up heat not only from the oil stream, but also from the oil pump and housing which will skew the reading. By relocating the sensor it also reduces clutter and sits flush against the bottom of the oil pan to avoid potential clearance issues. Any sensor with an M12 x 1.50mm thread can be used.

    E36 6 Cylinder Oil Cooler Kit - Stage 2 (Uses Euro Oil Cooler)
    The TMS Stage 2 Oil Cooler Kit takes the benefits of the factory oil cooler and housing in Stage 1 and adds the TMS-exclusive HTP oil lines. This makes it possible to use the factory oil cooler with a supercharger or a racing alternator pulley. This is possible because the oil lines are routed away from the front of the alternator and alternator pulley. The TMS Stage 2 Oil Cooler Kit uses mostly factory BMW parts to maintain the same clean appearance and performance you would expect if it was installed by the factory. The HTP lines (High Temperature Polymer Braided) oil lines are better than a rubber or stainless steel line. And the internal pathways of the filter housing are designed for the oil to flow out of the housing, into the cooler, and then back to the housing to pass through the filter. Also the Euro housing has an integrated thermostat to bypass the cooler at lower temps (who needs cold oil when the engine is cold?). The US housing is not setup for any of this as the oil just runs straight into the filter and onto the engine. For these reasons, the European E36 M3 coil filter housing is ideal for just about ANY oil cooler application. This is the same housing as used in our Stage I, Stage II, and Stage III oil cooler kits.

    What does TMS do to the E36 M3 Euro Oil Filter housing?
    The Euro E36 M3 cars use a different VANOS system and the VANOS oil line is a different size. The banjo bolt on the US car is M14x1.5 thread and the housing is drilled and tapped using a jig on a machine – not by hand – so the outside surface of the flange is smooth and flat to prevent leaks. This allows this filter housing to be used on US spec M3's, as well as any non-M E36 6 cylinder BMW.

    E36/E46 Oil Cooler Fitting Kit
    The TMS Oil Cooler Fitting kit allows much more flexibility in the routing of oil cooler lines. Standard oil coolers utilize “hard lines” which can cause fitment issues for cars with superchargers or other aftermarket performance parts. Our kit replaces the oil cooler hard lines with two TMS engineered -10 AN fittings, a bracket, and O-rings. Flexible braided hoses can then be run to the oil cooler adding many options for routing and provide more room in the engine compartment. The brackets and fittings are CNC machined stainless steel.     Virtually every top professional BMW engine builder relies on ARP Pro Series head studs. ARP uses a premium grade 8740 alloy that is rated far superior to "aircraft" quality. Each stud is heat-treated to 200,000 psi, ensuring complete heat penetration. ARP studs are threaded after heat-treat, which gives them 1000% (that's ten times!) better fatigue strength than studs threaded prior to heat-treat. Threading the studs after heat-treating is more difficult and costly (as it's harder on tooling) but the results are well worth the effort. These simply are the best head studs we've found for the E36 6 cylinder engines, and we highly recommend them in both the racing and forced induction arena. (Due to the additional clamping force between the head and block, these are IDEAL for turbo charging and supercharging!)

    Converting from the factory BMW head bolts to head studs makes it much easier to assemble an engine, especially a racing powerplant which must be serviced frequently (and quickly!), and also ensures proper alignment of the head and gasket. Head studs also provide more accurate and consistent torque loading. Here's why: When you use bolts to secure the head, the fastener is actually being "twisted" while it's being torqued to the proper reading. Accordingly, the bolt is reacting to two different forces simultaneously. A head stud should be installed in a "relaxed" mode -- never crank it in tightly using a jammed nut. If everything is right, the stud should be installed finger tight. Then, when applying torque to the nut, the stud will stretch only on the vertical axis.     Fuel Pump Upgrade for 95-99 E36 3 Series
    In our years campaigning the E36 chassis in World Challenge, and working on various other street and club racing cars we found the later built E36 cars are much more prone to fuel starvation then the cars manufactured before January, 1995. This is caused by a less efficient siphon pick up tube in the driver’s side sending unit. During hard cornering this will cause the car to temporarily run out of fuel which can cause engine damage or cause the car to become unsettled at an inopportune time. With the later fuel pump sending units you can start having fuel starvation as early as 3/8 of a tank of gas where with the earlier sending units this condition does not start to occur until below ¼ tank. This kit is a great inexpensive way to get more fuel out of your tank. For endurance racing there are other more expensive ways to get all the fuel out of your tank, but for driver schools or sprint races this is the way to go. In the four years that Turner Motorsport ran the E36 in SCCA Touring car this is the fuel pump setup that was used and there was never any fuel starvation problem after this conversion.

    **This kit is for 01/1995 and later E36 6 cylinder. We recommend checking your production date / fuel pump to be sure you don't already have this fuel pump in your car. If you have the later (01/1995 and newer) style pump, then you will want (need!) this kit.     Active Autowerke Secondary Air Pump Simulator for M52/S52 Engines
    All OBD2 E36 3 series 6 cylinder engines (M52 2.8 liter and S52 3.2 liter) came with an auxiliary air pump for emissions. If your E36 for is for track/ racing, or using forced induction, there are many reasons to eliminate this pump. This module allows you to remove the pump with no engine fault codes or check engine light. It does this by electronically simulating the inputs and outputs of the air pump, so that your E36 BMW's DME (engine control unit) does not even realize the pump has been removed.     Bosch 24 lb Fuel Injector - Blue Top (Bosch # 0-280-150-947)
    The 24 LB Bosch blue-top injector is used in many high performance vehicles which require a good amount of fuel. This fuel injector is most commonly used on Ford Mustangs, and other domestic V8's, which require a healthy amount of fuel. This is a genuine Bosch fuel injector, Bosch part number 0-280-150-947 / Ford Motorsport part # F1TE-D5A. Sold individually, so be sure to order enough for your application.

    We use this particular Bosch injector on modified E36 M3 BMWs, which require more fuel to balance the air/fuel ratio after adding modifications such as cold air intake, cams, headers, etc. During our own testing we found the stock BMW injectors reach their limits with only a few modifications (intake, HFM, and basic chip). Anything more than these basic upgrades and you will need larger injectors. In the packages and kits we have developed we found the 24# pound fuel injector to be ideal – not too large and not too small. With the correct software you can run your engine without fear of the mixture being too lean. This is the fuel injector we use in our 3.2 OBD-II kits as well as in our 3.0/3.2 OBD-I systems. This injector, and the software we have developed when using them, are designed for the E36 M3 BMWs only (We have not seen a reason to use them on a E36 325 or 328).

    This software is a major refinement of the stock software. It makes the car much easier to drive with less hesitation, more torque, and incredibly smooth operation.     Sprint Booster Drive-by-Wire Enhancement Module for 2001+ BMW
    When BMW began using the "Drive-by-wire" throttle system in 2001, a lot of people cringed. The Drive-by-wire system uses electronics to replace the mechanical cable throttle of the past. This means the electronics between the accelerator pedal and motorized throttle must interpret what your right foot does, and ultimately decides how the engine will respond. Although advanced in it's technology and engineering, many of us agree that the Drive-by-Wire equipped BMWs feel unresponsive and lack the crisp, sharp throttle response that older BMWs had with a traditional throttle cable. That's where the Sprint Booster comes in.

    The Sprint Booster is an in-line "plug and play" module, that remaps the Drive-by-Wire throttle curve to be much quicker than stock programming. It removes the "lag" or delay that exists in the stock electronic mapping. The result is sharper, quicker throttle response and immediate power delivery. We found the difference to be NIGHT AND DAY, and were instantly smitten by the snappier feel the Sprint Booster gave to both a stock BMW as well as on a modified BMW. What's more - the Sprint Booster installs in just a few minutes at the back of the gas pedal. Simply release pedal from the pedal base by unlocking the locking tab, pull the pedal up/foward, unplug the harness, and plug in Sprint Booster. Here's an example of how simple the install is --
    installation on an E46 3 series.

    How does it work? The Sprint Booster listens to the pedal input signal, and sends an improved signal to the ETC (electronic throttle control) which has been amplified or "boosted", so that the throttle is more responsive throughout the entire rpm range.

    On most BMW applications, you even get your choice on how aggressive you want the throttle mapping to be (select your BMW/option below). The more aggressive the Sprint Booster, the snappier the throttle. If you're worried about the modified throttle being TOO sensitive (snappy or twitchy), then we recommend going with the least aggressive option, where available. (Automatic transmission cars are only available in one sensitivity level.)

    E46 M3 Track/Competition Exhaust with Shark Injector
    E46 M3 Track/Competition exhaust kit with specially-tuned Conforti Shark InjectorTM software. Turner Motorsport has exhaustive experience modifying the E46 M3 and we’ve put together what we think is the best bang for the buck.  Kit includes Euro M3 headers (Supersprint "stepped" headers are optional), Supersprint straight pipes that delete the cats and resonators, and a Borla rear muffler system. 

    The torque peaks at a lower, more useable 4200 rpm as opposed to the stock car’s 5000 rpm. There’s over 240 ft-lbs of torque as low as 3500 rpm – the stock system doesn’t hit that for another 1000 rpm! Horsepower climbs steadily starting at 3500 with the biggest boost coming at 7200 rpm (+20hp). This system showed greater gains on our dyno than the standard Euro Headers and Euro Cat conversion. For an even greater hp gains use the new Supersprint "stepped" header system.

    With the Borla mufflers this system is quite a bit louder than the stock system but still easily tolerated for street use. The Supersprint race muffler system is louder still and recommended only for track cars. There is also a significant weight savings with this system making it perfect for track cars.

    The Shark InjectorTM software has been specifically designed for cars running the Euro headers but no cats. The software "turns off" the reading from the rear O2 sensors and modifies the tolerances for the EGT sensor. Using this exhaust without the proper software will surely cause a Check Engine light. Because this part modifies the BMW emissions equipment, a Smog Waiver must be signed and on file at TMS before parts can be shipped.

    TM is available separately. It works only on cars that have headers and no cats. You can choose between 91 and 93 octane gas. The rev limit is set at 8100 rpm. A signed smog waiver is required.

    E46 M3 Coated Headers
    These high quality headers are a direct bolt on for the US BMW E46 M3 and deliver an impressive boost in power over the stock manifolds by removing the restrictive catalytic converters. In our testing for our own E46 M3 Grand Am race cars, we've found the US S54 engine simply needs a good set of headers to make better power. For years, we've been using the factory BMW Euro headers to give the US E46 M3 a big boost in power. Recently the factory headers have jumped up in price from BMW, opening the door for a lower cost alternative -- and these are them! These aftermarket coated headers accomplish the same goal and save you big money over the Euro M3 headers. Pulse-tuned length ensures maximum exhaust flow, while a dual-stage thermobaric ceramic coating lowers radiated heat temperatures by up to 65% as well as increasing the exhaust scavenging effect and reducing corrosion.     Supersprint Race Header/No-Cat Exhaust System for MZ3 (S52)
    Supersprint offers a header/no-cat upgrade for track cars that is heads and tails above the competition. Using the larger sport headers for the Euro-market M3, and a straight-through Euro center resonator, big horsepower gains can be had from the S52 engine in the 1998-2000 M Coupe, M Roadster. This system will delete your cats so it's intended for track cars only and special software will be needed to keep the check engine light off. This exhaust system is a perfect compliment to our Intake/Cam Packages (link) and we have special software for running headers and no cats with the intake/cam packages.     O2 Sensor Bung and Plug
    O2 Sensor Bung and plug. This weld-in bung allows an O2 sensor to be screwed into your exhaust system. It's required for custom exhaust systems, and is also useful for air/fuel ratio measurements when dyno testing. A threaded plug is included to cap off when not in use. Bung and cap/plug are both 100% stainless steel.

       Install Tips
    • Locate bung as close to engine a possible, without exceeding the maximum operating temperature for the O2 sensor. The suggested location is just down-stream of the merge-collector on each bank of cylinders.
    • Sensors located after upstream exhaust system leaks or too close to exhaust outlets are susceptible to poor readings or influence of ambient air
    • O2 Sensors exposed to exhaust gasses with too high amount of un-burnt fuel can lead to misleading readings. A possible lean reading.
    • Locate sensor/bung 90° to exhaust gas stream.
    • Locate sensor/bung in tube with a minimum of 10° up angel to prevent liquid build up in sensor element.
    • Use stainless steel welding wire or rod when installing bung.
    • Do not have bung plug or a oxygen sensor installed when welding bung in place.
    • Welding can distort the bung so it is recommended you chase/tap the threads of the bung after welding.
    • When installing O2 sensor or plug, use an O2 sensor compatible high temperature resistant grease on the threads.
    • Use tightening torque suggested by O2 senor manufacturer.

    M50 Manifold Conversion Adapter Kit (To install OBDI manifold on an M52/S52)
    This kit includes everything to fit an OBDI M50 manifold to an OBDII M52 or S52 engine (1996-1999). It takes the guesswork out of adding the M50 manifold to your engine. The kit includes a CNC machined adapter, with all hardware and gaskets, that allows the freer flowing M50 manifold to be installed while maintaining full function of M52/S52 components including factory PCV cyclone / oil seperator valve. No vacuum leaks, no check engine lights. And the entire kit is completely reversible. Turner Motorsport has dealt with the problems from other kits and this adapter block is – by far – the best solution. Clear and well-thought out instructions are included.

    This kit does not include an M50 manifold - a used manifold can be added, using the drop-down options below.

    With the introduction of the 1996 model year came the OBDII emissions compliant engine. Among the many changes the OBDII engines received was a more restrictive air intake manifold. Where the older M50/S50 engines continued to make power up in the higher RPMs, the newer M52/S52 ran out of breath, limiting high-end horsepower, but boosting low-end torque. Converting the OBDII cars to the 1995 and earlier OBDI manifold is a popular modification to remove this high-rpm restriction.

    To best maximize the horsepower gains of this modification, you should be using the M50 manifold with bigger cams, HFM, injectors, and software. We have found this combination of upgrades and software to yield the best results for producing top-end power. Note: using the M50 manifold shifts the power band higher in the RPM range. This is GREAT for track cars but not well-suited for street cars where the OBDII manifold works best to produce torque at lower RPM. Presently, we do not have software tuned for only the M50 manifold without cams or the HFM upgrade. Check our website again for future product releases. We currently offer custom mapped Shark Injectors for these packages:

    If you've upgraded to the 3.5" Euro, 540i or Porsche HFM you know how much of a difference reducing intake restriction makes on these engines. This Samco silicone intake boot is the perfect mate for cars that have been upgraded with the 3.5" HFM, as it doesn't require any reducers or adapters (which impair air flow). Unlike the factory rubber intake boot, which has an accordian-like shape that causes turbulence, this boot has a smooth interior surface for best possible air flow. When coupled with the 3.5" HFM this makes for the best possible flow to the throttle body and intake manifold.

    This intake boot assumes your car either is not equipped with traction control system (ASC) or it has been (or will be) deleted.

    If you are about to (or already have) eliminated the restrictive stock BMW ASC+T traction control system, you'll want to upgrade to this Samco silicone intake boot. Lose the factory "accordian" desgin boot, which creates lots of intake turbulence (read: lost power!). The Samco intake elbow has a perfectly smooth interior finish, with no sharp angles or other obstacles for intake air to get slowed by. It's made using 4 layers of high quality silicone, designed to last for many years in even the most extreme conditions.

    Installing this boot assumes your car either does not have traction control (ASC), or you will be removing it from your car. (You'll also need to install a 10ohm / 1watt resistor accross the ASC actuator wiring, to simulate the presence of the ASC modules, and avoid causing ABS faults). Removing ASC is a great way to decrease intake restriction, and this intake boot is perfect for this upgrade.

    This intake boot works very well with all cold air intake kits, including the Conforti cold air kit (with standard 3.0" HFM) and AFE intake kits. Have you already upgraded to the 3.5" Euro/540i HFM? No problem! We have a Samco intake bellows for that application as well (see part# SAMCO-BFHOSE1-BLK).

    E9x BMW Performance 'Rennsport' Steering Wheel
    This is the coolest steering wheel we have ever seen from BMW. Hardcore racing drivers and enthusiasts will recognize right away the features of this wheel are intended for maximum control, feel, and function during spirited driving.

    This is a factory BMW Performance wheel that we have dubbed the 'Rennsport' wheel. This is the basic wheel behind the the famous Performance wheel but without the data display, shift lights, and other doo-dads. It's been reduced to the simplest form by BMW's motorsport-oriented engineers to be a functional element in the driving experience and not only a place to rest your hands.

    This wheel is covered in alcantara suede with white stitching. It's the same thickness and shape as the factory M3 wheel. The bottom section of the rim has been flattened to allow more thigh room and a better grip when making turns of the wheel past 90 degrees. Flat bottom wheels can be found on the world's highest-performing cars and it's the first time we have seen BMW offer this style as a factory accessory. A reference mark on the top of the rim indicates top dead center of the steering. This mark is common on rally cars and drift cars to let the driver know when the steering wheel is back straight-ahead, without having to look away from the road.

    This wheel replaces the sport or M3 steering wheel. It re-uses the stock sport wheel airbag or M3 airbag (not included) and the stock sport wheel cover or M3 wheel cover (not included, see below for options). Photo above shows this wheel assembled with airbag and cover (not included). It works with manual transmission cars only.

    Racing Seat Belt Harness Retaining Guide Collars (Pair)

These aluminum collars bolt on your roll cage's harness bar (or any bar for that matter) and help keep your seat belt harnesses from sliding on the bar. You can use just one pair to accomplish this, or 2 pairs (4 collars total) for the best looking and functioning install. The beauty of these collars (besides being lightweight and looking clean) is that they can be adjusted from side to side, which is convenient if you change you seat or belt configuration.
