TMS E92 335i Cat-Back Performance Exhaust System
We've tested and tried many exhaust systems on our own E92 335i coupe. Several we'd even consider being "very good". But we were after greatness. Our goals were simple: A street exhaust with the most performance, GREAT sound, GREAT fitment, 100% stainless, 100% bolt on install, and all at a reasonable price. Mission accomplished.

This 100% T304 mandrel bent exhaust system has been developed using feedback from testing all of the "other" exhaust systems out there, as well as direct feedback from our customers. After several months of work, we're confident we've finally got this 335i system JUST RIGHT. It offers a huge increase in exhaust flow rate, with a street tuned sound that is not too quiet (like stock) and not too loud (like a race car). Special care was given to avoid obnoxious "drone" noises, particularly for highway cruising and light-footed around-town driving. Open the throttle up, though, and this exhaust creates a powerful -- yet tasteful -- ROAR for your 335i.

Not cutting! No welding! Many other systems on the market for the BMW 335i require cutting your stock exhaust, and either welding or clamping the components in place. This system is a direct bolt on, bolting to the factory front catalyst pipes, and replacing everything from the cat back to the tail pipes. We didn't use any shortcuts on this exhaust. Even the muffler packing materials are German composite and US OE grade stainless steel. Connections between sections are made with heavy duty stainless steel band clamps. And the exhaust tips are both dual walled, bevel edged, and adjustable so you can get the tips exactly where you want them. Our signature "TURNER" logo is laser engraved on each of the polished tips.

    E36 Track Pipe - Replaces Catalytic Converters
    This track/racing center exhaust for the E36 325 and E36 M3 replaces the heavy and restrictive stock catalytic converters. On a 1995 M3 this exhaust alone showed gains of almost 20 HP and 15hp on the 1996-1999 M3! It bolts to the stock exhaust manifold or the TMS Shorty Headers without cutting or fabrication. The system features 100% stainless steel materials, a straight through, no restriction resonator, 3" inlet pipe with stock diameter twin tubes, and total bolt-on design using stock type flanges and hanger points. The racing Track Pipe is nearly 30% lighter than the factory cat section! We recommend using this with the Borla cat-back muffler, because of its light weight, great sound, and proven performance gains. Sound quality is refined, not overly loud.

    This exhaust includes a single oxygen sensor port for OBD-1 models. For an OBD-2 E36 M3, the use of oxygen sensor simulators is required to keep the Check Engine Light off (optional add-on below). Note: while this track pipe will fit the E36 328i/is, the O2 simulators will not keep the Check Engine Light off.

    Borla Cat-Back Exhausts

    We have been selling Borla exhausts for BMWs for over 10 years and it is still our Number 1 choice for a cat-back exhaust. Borla designs their exhausts to be not too loud (you don't own a Camaro) and not too quiet (you don't want to drive a hearse either) but rather in the middle.     E46 M3 Track/Competition Exhaust with Shark Injector
    E46 M3 Track/Competition exhaust kit with specially-tuned Conforti Shark InjectorTM software. Turner Motorsport has exhaustive experience modifying the E46 M3 and we’ve put together what we think is the best bang for the buck.  Kit includes Euro M3 headers (Supersprint "stepped" headers are optional), Supersprint straight pipes that delete the cats and resonators, and a Borla rear muffler system. 

    The torque peaks at a lower, more useable 4200 rpm as opposed to the stock car’s 5000 rpm. There’s over 240 ft-lbs of torque as low as 3500 rpm – the stock system doesn’t hit that for another 1000 rpm! Horsepower climbs steadily starting at 3500 with the biggest boost coming at 7200 rpm (+20hp). This system showed greater gains on our dyno than the standard Euro Headers and Euro Cat conversion. For an even greater hp gains use the new Supersprint "stepped" header system.

    With the Borla mufflers this system is quite a bit louder than the stock system but still easily tolerated for street use. The Supersprint race muffler system is louder still and recommended only for track cars. There is also a significant weight savings with this system making it perfect for track cars.

    The Shark InjectorTM software has been specifically designed for cars running the Euro headers but no cats. The software "turns off" the reading from the rear O2 sensors and modifies the tolerances for the EGT sensor. Using this exhaust without the proper software will surely cause a Check Engine light. Because this part modifies the BMW emissions equipment, a Smog Waiver must be signed and on file at TMS before parts can be shipped.

    TM is available separately. It works only on cars that have headers and no cats. You can choose between 91 and 93 octane gas. The rev limit is set at 8100 rpm. A signed smog waiver is required.

    E46 M3 Coated Headers
    These high quality headers are a direct bolt on for the US BMW E46 M3 and deliver an impressive boost in power over the stock manifolds by removing the restrictive catalytic converters. In our testing for our own E46 M3 Grand Am race cars, we've found the US S54 engine simply needs a good set of headers to make better power. For years, we've been using the factory BMW Euro headers to give the US E46 M3 a big boost in power.     E46 M3 & MZ4 Roadster/Coupe Euro Header & Catalytic Converter
    BMW changed two obvious things on the Euro E46M3 and Z4 M when they brought the car to the USA - They added the yellow reflectors to the front bumper and they changed the location of the catalyst in relation to the motor. For the USA BMW moved the catalyst very close to the head, in the exhaust manifold. It was put there to heat it up faster for better cold start emissions. The detriment of this change is that it causes a loss of almost 11 HP at 7,700 rpm and 17 lb/ft torque at around 4000 rpm. Well, we have a way of getting that HP back.

    Installing the Euro header and catalyst is a direct bolt on way to increase horsepower and torque. These factory original parts bolt on to the USA/Canada car and are supplied with all the necessary gaskets - even copper manifold nuts! (You will need to lengthen the wires on your existing oxygen sensors.) A Specially Tuned Software (Shark Injector) for this kit is available to maximize drivability and power - we highly suggest this. What you will notice is a "night and day" difference in the power band - the motor is smoother, the car accelerates faster and some of the "rasp" of the stock exhaust is gone.     E90/E92 M3 Test Pipes (Cat Delete)
    On the E90/E92 M3, the stock exhaust headers flow very well while the catalysts present the largest obstacle and power loss. These pipes were designed specifically for race/track use, and offer a cost-effective means of removing the very restrictive catalytic converters on all 2008+ E90/E92 M3. They allow you to make two single cuts to your stock midpipe section, removing the catalytic converters, and clamping the largest diameter straight pipe in their place using the provided high-end/premium exhaust clamps. This eliminates the largest source of exhaust restriction, unleashing AMAZING power gains and a very obvious improvement in acceleration. (Dyno chart shown is with Cat Delete + Stage II Software). Another benefit of these Test Pipes, versus other options, is that they retains as much of your stock system as possible, keeping noise levels tame enough for even the most stringent sound limitations found at many track events (nearly stock sound levels).

       Install Tips
    • Locate bung as close to engine a possible, without exceeding the maximum operating temperature for the O2 sensor. The suggested location is just down-stream of the merge-collector on each bank of cylinders.
    • Sensors located after upstream exhaust system leaks or too close to exhaust outlets are susceptible to poor readings or influence of ambient air
    • O2 Sensors exposed to exhaust gasses with too high amount of un-burnt fuel can lead to misleading readings. A possible lean reading.
    • Locate sensor/bung 90° to exhaust gas stream.
    • Locate sensor/bung in tube with a minimum of 10° up angel to prevent liquid build up in sensor element.
    • Use stainless steel welding wire or rod when installing bung.
    • Do not have bung plug or a oxygen sensor installed when welding bung in place.
    • Welding can distort the bung so it is recommended you chase/tap the threads of the bung after welding.
    • When installing O2 sensor or plug, use an O2 sensor compatible high temperature resistant grease on the threads.
    • Use tightening torque suggested by O2 senor manufacturer.

    We sell OEM air mass sensors, air flow meters, and HFMs (Hot Film Meter) for many BMWs. When the mass air sensor is bad you will notice your engine running out of tune. Your fuel mileage will suffer, throttle response will be poor, and you will notice a lack of power.

    There should be a Check Engine Light to alert you that the air sensor is having problems. However, there may not be a fault code for the air meter itself. Often times the code comes up as fuel trim or lean condition. In these cases the air sensor could be just one of a number of potential problems.

    We only sell air sensors from Original Equipment Manufacturers like, Bosch, VDO, and Siemens. Please note that HFMs are an electrical part and cannot be returned for refund.

    No-Toil Foam Filter Oil (for ITG Filters)
    Don't use harsh solvents like gasoline to clean your ITG on your Eurosport/Conforti intake kit (or similar foam filter element). This product is all you need to maintain your ITG foam filter, and is recommend for use with all Conforti Cold-Air Intake Kits.

    When cleaning an ITG foam filter, ITG recommends using warm water and a mild detergent (simple dish soap is fine). Strong detergents and solvents can harm the foam, and cause the filter to break down. Once dirt, dust and debris are rinsed out of the filter, it should be re-oiled to ensure proper function of the filter. ITG recommends No-Toil filter oil, as it is safe to the foam filter media, and is completely waterproof. Drive with more peace of mind through heavy rain and puddles.

    Please note, as this product is an aerosol, it MUST BE SHIPPED BY UPS GROUND. Sorry, this can not be shipped outside of the US/Canda.

    BMW used the same intake manifold for all M52 engines. Although the small intake ports of the stock unit offer respectable low end torque, the top end performance suffers greatly. The stock manifolds simply do not flow adequate air volume at engine speeds over 4000 R.P.M. Schrick GMBH, well known for their performance camshafts, have developed an intake system that retains the important low-end torque qualities of the factory system, while increasing the port diameter to improve top end horsepower. Dyno tests on a 328i have shown an increase of 18+ horsepower between 5600 and 5900 R.P.M.

    M50 Manifold Conversion Adapter Kit (To install OBDI manifold on an M52/S52)
    This kit includes everything to fit an OBDI M50 manifold to an OBDII M52 or S52 engine (1996-1999). It takes the guesswork out of adding the M50 manifold to your engine. The kit includes a CNC machined adapter, with all hardware and gaskets, that allows the freer flowing M50 manifold to be installed while maintaining full function of M52/S52 components including factory PCV cyclone / oil seperator valve. No vacuum leaks, no check engine lights. And the entire kit is completely reversible. Turner Motorsport has dealt with the problems from other kits and this adapter block is – by far – the best solution. Clear and well-thought out instructions are included.

    This kit does not include an M50 manifold - a used manifold can be added, using the drop-down options below.

    With the introduction of the 1996 model year came the OBDII emissions compliant engine. Among the many changes the OBDII engines received was a more restrictive air intake manifold. Where the older M50/S50 engines continued to make power up in the higher RPMs, the newer M52/S52 ran out of breath, limiting high-end horsepower, but boosting low-end torque. Converting the OBDII cars to the 1995 and earlier OBDI manifold is a popular modification to remove this high-rpm restriction.

    To best maximize the horsepower gains of this modification, you should be using the M50 manifold with bigger cams, HFM, injectors, and software. We have found this combination of upgrades and software to yield the best results for producing top-end power. Note: using the M50 manifold shifts the power band higher in the RPM range. This is GREAT for track cars but not well-suited for street cars where the OBDII manifold works best to produce torque at lower RPM. Presently, we do not have software tuned for only the M50 manifold without cams or the HFM upgrade. Check our website again for future product releases.     TMS E46 M3 Carbon Fiber Cold Air Intake Kit

    If you've upgraded to the 3.5" Euro, 540i or Porsche HFM you know how much of a difference reducing intake restriction makes on these engines. This Samco silicone intake boot is the perfect mate for cars that have been upgraded with the 3.5" HFM, as it doesn't require any reducers or adapters (which impair air flow). Unlike the factory rubber intake boot, which has an accordian-like shape that causes turbulence, this boot has a smooth interior surface for best possible air flow. When coupled with the 3.5" HFM this makes for the best possible flow to the throttle body and intake manifold.

    If you are about to (or already have) eliminated the restrictive stock BMW ASC+T traction control system, you'll want to upgrade to this Samco silicone intake boot. Lose the factory "accordian" desgin boot, which creates lots of intake turbulence (read: lost power!). The Samco intake elbow has a perfectly smooth interior finish, with no sharp angles or other obstacles for intake air to get slowed by. It's made using 4 layers of high quality silicone, designed to last for many years in even the most extreme conditions.

    Installing this boot assumes your car either does not have traction control (ASC), or you will be removing it from your car. (You'll also need to install a 10ohm / 1watt resistor accross the ASC actuator wiring, to simulate the presence of the ASC modules, and avoid causing ABS faults). Removing ASC is a great way to decrease intake restriction, and this intake boot is perfect for this upgrade.

    This intake boot works very well with all cold air intake kits, including the Conforti cold air kit (with standard 3.0" HFM) and AFE intake kits. Have you already upgraded to the 3.5" Euro/540i HFM? No problem! We have a Samco intake bellows for that application as well (see part# SAMCO-BFHOSE1-BLK).
