BMWs need some added chassis strengthening in the front. You may notice some "chassis flex" when cornering or driving over a bumpy road. The reason for this is the incredible amount of force being applied to front strut towers. They have a tendency to flex when force is applied to them. Tying the strut towers together with a brace reduces the amount of flex and soldifies your car's chassis. Easy installation.

E30 Turner Motorsport J Stock Spring Set
These springs have become the "standard" in BMW Club racings JS class - We designed these springs around BMW's own Group N springs. BMW's springs were designed to compete in Europe's production-based Group N racing series. Our springs are a progressive-rate spring with a range from 200 lb/inch up to 900 lb/inch. There is also a large ratio of rear to front stiffness which will help eliminate understeer. These springs will lower a stock M3 by about 1.50" front and 1.25" rear but they work on any E30. Although you can buy these springs as only a set, we strongly recommend installing in conjunction with our modified Bilstein shocks at the same time.

    TMS Steering Rack Stop Kit
    Whether it is installing new wider wheels, tires, brake ducts, shocks, or springs, there could be a rubbing issue on the inside of your fender well. Our rack stops will help protect your investment. You can save the costs of replacing rubbing tires, worn out brake ducts, cut shock reservoir hoses, and broken underside plastic panels. There is also the added benefit of knowing you can turn the steering wheel to full lock and not be worried that the wheels will rub. Our rack stop length is the approximate length that will be removed from the outside tire wall’s path. For example, if a 16mm rack stop is used, there will be 16mm more clearance for a brake duct between the fender well and the edge of the tire.     15mm Rear Spring Pads (pair)
    BMW used three different spring pads in the E36 E46 3 series, each a different thickness, the thinnest being only 5mm. If they chose to use the thinnest pad on your car, you may end up with a ride height in the rear a little lower than you expected when lowering you car with sport springs.     TMS Rear Trailing Arm Bushing Limiter Kit (RTAB Shim Kit)

    The ORIGINAL rear trailing arm bushing / RTAB shim kit -- and still the best! The Turner rear trailing-arm bushing limiter kit creates a stiffer rear suspension without sacrificing ride quality. Stock trailing arm bushings are known for failure, on both the E36 and E46 BMW chassis. This kit is a perfect upgrade from stock, as it reduces bushing deflection, dramatically increases bushing life, improves handling, and all without the harshness of "race-only" bushings, and while maintaining completely silent operation -- no squeaks and no vibration, whatsoever.

    By combining these limiters with stock bushings, this is a great low cost and effective suspension performance enhancer. Each pair of blue aluminum "shims" essentially sandwich the stock rubber bushing to control their lateral movement. By limiting the amount of side-to-side play of the stock bushing, drivers will have increased driver feel thanks to the reduction of toe variation caused by the squirm of the stock rubber bushings. This also reduces duress on the bushing, giving your newly installed bushings a dramatically longer lifespan (a welcome benefit for both pure street or tracked cars). Some stock class racing series even allow this kind of modification, because the stock bushing is still being used.

    Kit includes: 4-Blue anodized aluminum bushing limiters, eight 5mm allen bolts and a drilling template.

    Pros and cons of bushing deflection.
    • Bushing deflection with a rubber material is good for absorbing vibrations and noises. This helps in maintaining the excellent ride/handling characteristics of the stock car.
    • However bushing deflection is unwanted on a race or track vehicle because it leads to excess suspension movement. This is bad for handling, due to constant camber and toe changes. Plus, any power from the engine can take longer to get to the ground because it has to windup the bushing first.
    Why is friction or force bad?
    • Any time you have friction or force from a bushing it will cause the suspension to react slowly, and that is not what you want.
    • How does this correlate to our 2 styles of bushings?

    a. Bonded rubber bushings require more force to deflect the elastic rubber materials from their static state.

    b. Spherical bearings with PTFE lining require the least amount of force because the spherical bearing has less surface area and the PTFE liner has a low coefficient of friction. Plus no extra force or friction is generated due to elimination of the high bearing misalignment design. This eliminates the performance-robbing characteristics of a rubber bushing.

    Definition for Bearing Misalignment: Rigid bushings and bearings are often designed to work on a single axis and as long as loads are applied along that axis, all is good. When loads are applied to a bushing or bearing off its axis, increased friction or binding will occur. This off axis loading will cause bearing misalignment.

    E36/E46/Z4 Group N Rear Camber Arm
    Designed and built in-house at BMW Motorsport, these are stock rear camber arms from the E36 M3 that have been strengthened by welding a reinforment in between the wishbones. Stiffer than the stock units and still adjustable for camber. This arm is legal in many racing classes where an aftermarket arm is not permitted. Sold individually, two required per car.

    E36, Z3 Front Camber Bolt Kit
    Whether you need a camber change or you are looking for more adjustment with your camber plates, you can change your camber by shimming the strut and spindle with the TMS bolt kit.     E36 & MZ3 Steering Rack Alignment Tool
    This tool was developed by the TMS race crew for multiple applications, such as centering the steering rack, centering the steering wheel, and attaining repeatable alignments. This results in significant time savings when doing street or track suspension setups.

    A centered steering rack prevents handling issues such as uneven bump steer, inconsistent steering resistance and unequal turning radius left to right. With this tool, every alignment will have the rack in the same place every time, which can save time when doing a quick check of toe after a hard day at the track or on the street. If your steering rack is in the same place for every alignment then the steering wheel will also be in the same place, hence eliminating the need to reset the steering wheel. Every time a toe adjustment is done and the tie rod is moved without the alignment tool, it moves the steering rack, resulting in having to recheck all alignment numbers after each adjustment, resulting in having to set up the alignment equipment after every adjustment. If you have ever used strings to set up your car you know how much having to restring the car can slow you down. If you are like us at TMS, you want your E36/Z3 perfect every time and you want to achieve perfection as quickly as possible.

    E46 Steering Rack Alignment Tool
    This tool was developed by the TMS race crew for multiple applications, such as centering the steering rack, centering the steering wheel, and attaining repeatable alignments. This results in significant time savings when doing street or track suspension setups. Works on E46 3 series including E46 M3, 325i, 325Ci, 328i, 328Ci, 330i & 330ci (including ZHP).

    A centered steering rack prevents handling issues such as uneven bump steer, inconsistent steering resistance and unequal turning radius left to right. With this tool, every alignment will have the rack in the same place every time, which can save time when doing a quick check of toe after a hard day at the track or on the street. If your steering rack is in the same place for every alignment then the steering wheel will also be in the same place, hence eliminating the need to reset the steering wheel. Every time a toe adjustment is done and the tie rod is moved without the alignment tool, it moves the steering rack, resulting in having to recheck all alignment numbers after each adjustment, resulting in having to set up the alignment equipment after every adjustment. If you have ever used strings to set up your car you know how much having to restring the car can slow you down.     After years of using spacers on street cars and race cars, we decided it was about time to start from scratch and engineer a spacer with all of the features and tricks that we always wanted. These are the spacers to end all wheel spacers, incorporating not only years of racing ingenuity, but also the experience of our skilled service technicians. Here is why the Turner Motorsport spacers are designed to be the best wheel spacers on the market:
    1. Spacers need to be removed from time to time, and it's not uncommon for them to become stuck to the hub of the car. Nowhere is this more common than the four seasons of New England (where we are located), where rust makes removing anything a nightmare. Most companies tell you to use a hammer and chisel to beat the spacer off. All this does is distort the spacer which, in turn, may lead to a vibration. This latest spacer design incorporates pockets around the entire circumference of the spacer. These pockets allow you to easily pop the spacer off with a flat blade screwdriver without damaging it.
    2. We start with very strong and lightweight high-grade aluminum with a strong resistance to corrosion. We go the extra step and have our spacers coated with a military-spec hard-coat for extreme corrosion prevention and with a dark gray color to blend in with your wheel and brake package for best appearance.
    3. All Turner Spacers are CNC machined to very tight machining tolerances to save weight while not affecting strength. Our spacers are engineered and manufactured to preserve ride quality, last a long time, and enhance your BMW's handling and looks.
    4. We laser engrave each wheel spacer with it's size for fast identification.
    Why would I want wheel spacers?
  • Appearance. This pushes the wheels out wider for a better looking, more aggressive stance and look.
  • Clearance & Correction. Many wheels are not a direct fit with big brake kits or coilover suspensions. A wheel spacer helps by moving the wheel away from the caliper, wheel spokes, or suspension that is causing the clearance issue. If your wheels have the wrong offset (too high an offset, causing the wheels to be too far inward) a set of wheel spacers can correct this by pushing the wheel out to the correct offset.
  • Handling. By adding wheel spacers, you are widening the overall "track" (or width) of your BMW. A wider track improves cornering, increases stability and safety.

    FORGELINE E90/E92 M3 18 inch Track/Competiton Wheel Package (Tires Optional)
    If you are taking your E90/E92 M3 to the track, you should consider this wheel package, which features a set of 4 unstaggered (identical) FORGELINE ZX3R light weight forged alloy race/competition wheels, which will allow you to run a rotatable un-staggered setup for more neutral handling, increased tire life, and a perfect fit with no rubbing or clearance issues.

    The Wheels. FOREGLINE wheels are designed for strength and performance, and are built to meet today's extreme demands of sports car racing. It's no wonder they are used by racers in Grand Am, ALMS, SCCA Pro Racing, as well as virtually every amateur sports car series in the US. The ZX3R is ForgeLine's forged competition wheel, and uses military-spec lightweight jet-nuts to reduce weight in the most critical point -- the perimeter of the wheel. The forged wheel center also has all unncecessary aluminum removed to reduce the weight as much as possible witout sacrificing strength. The rim material is lighter and stronger, thanks to the use of 6061-T6 aluminum. And for even further weigh reduction at the perimeter, these wheels are available with Titanium bolts (optional, +$75 each wheel).

    Save 24 lbs of unsprung weight! Stock BMW 18" M3 wheels weigh 48lbs front and 51 lbs rear, with tires. The optional 19" factory wheels are 47 lbs / 51 lbs with tires. This Forgeline package weighs only 43 lbs a corner with tires -- a weight savings of either 22 or 24 lbs over stock.

    We've selected the most ideal size and offset for the E90/E92 M3 -- 18x10" with an offset that allows the same size wheel and tire front and rear for optimum balance (and the ability to rotate tires). On our Project E90 M3, we run this wheel package with 275/35-18 tires (front and rear) and have found this is simply the winning combination for the E9x M3. No rubbing or fender rolling required. This package includes four (4) 18x10" ForgeLine ZX3R competition wheels in your choice of custom finish and options. These wheels are built to order for each customer, without the long wait time. Typical delivery time for these wheels is approximately 2 weeks.

    Wheel Pin Tool for Changing Wheels or Measuring Spacers
    This old-fashioned tool serves a number of purposes - A) It's a must-have for changing wheels. B) It's also useful for mocking a wheel on the hub to measure for spacer thickness. It's inserted into one of the bolt holes by hand and easily slides out when done.

    A) This wheel pin (wheel stud) makes changing wheels a snap. When it's pressed into the wheel hub, the new wheel slides right over it and each bolt hole lines up perfectly. No more wrangling with a wheel/tire to get the bolts to line up! When done, slide it out of the wheel and replace it with a wheel bolt.

    B) If you're trying to figure out what size spacer to use this tool can make things easier. With the pin pressed in to the hub you can then slide M12 washers over it to mimic the thickness of a spacer. The extra length of this pin allows you to slide the wheel back/forth to set the positon of the wheel. Measure the thickness of your washers and that's your spacer size! For this procedure, it's recommended that you have 2 of these pins so the wheel does not rotate out of position.

    BMW M Mobility Kit - Emergency Tire Repair and Air Compressor Kit
    This is the second generation "M Mobility Kit" from BMW. Unlike the older, more expensive kit, the tire sealant and air compressor of this can be used seperately, meaning the air compressor can be used for occasion inflation (without needing to pump in sealant fluid).
