TURNER SHOWING OFF THE GOODS IN SANTA BARBARA
TMS Cars On Display For Bimmerfest Weekend

Santa Barbara, CA - April 22, 2005 - Turner Motorsport will have two cars on display at this weekend’s Bimmerfest event at Santa Barbara BMW in California. The event is a gathering of BMW enthusiasts from all over the country and is expected to attract over 700 BMWs – many with Turner Motorsport high performance products installed – and 1600 people. In the Santa Barbara BMW showroom will be the Turner Motorsport/H&R Springs BMW M3 racecar and a street version of the BMW 330i racecars.

Turner Motorsport races the M3 and two 330i racecars in the Grand Am Cup series. The team is in California for next weekend’s race at Laguna Seca Raceway in Monterey. Turner Motorsport and Bimmerfest have sponsored each other for the past several years. The race will be on Saturday afternoon, April 30 at 2:45pm.

The 2005 E46 M3 was built by Turner Motorsport for endurance racing in the GS class of the Grand Am Cup series. It shares the straight-six engine with the normal road car but produces 385hp thanks to several Turner Motorsport modifications. Equipped with H&R Springs, StopTech Brakes, B&M Racing, Borla Exhaust, Red Line Oil, Pagid, Sunoco, Crocs, and Piloti Driving Shoes, the #96 M3 has scored one win in the first three races of the 2005 season. In addition, the team campaigns two more 330i racecars in the ST class.

The 2004 330i street car was built as a road-legal version of the team’s enormously successful E46 racecars. For the past three seasons, a Turner Motorsport/H&R Springs BMW has dominated Speed World Challenge and Grand Am Cup racing – winning championships in 2003 and 2004 and finishing runner-up to the 2004 Grand Am Cup crown. The blue 330i features an H&R/Turner suspension, StopTech brakes, Supersprint exhaust, BBS wheels, and much, much more. It serves as a rolling catalog of the Turner Motorsport product range.

Part of the Turner Motorsport race crew will be on hand to answer questions and display various components of each car. Both cars will be on display in the showroom.

If you miss us at Bimmerfest we hope to see you at Laguna Seca!
