MID OHIO SPORTS CAR COURSE - July 8, 2006 - The Grand Am Cup series will be broadcast on The SPEED Channel this Sunday, July 9 at 11:00am ET. Turner Motorsport fielded three BMWs in the Grand Am Cup series - two M3s in the Grand Sport class and a 330i in the Street Tuner class. The team had much to celebrate at the end of the race.

The Turner Motorsport BMWs were driven by Don Salama and Will Turner in the #95 H&R Springs/Turner Motorsport BMW 330i, Bill Auberlen and Chris Gleason in the #96 H&R Springs/StopTech Brakes/Gleason Financial BMW M3, and Anders Hainer and Nic Jonsson in the #97 H&R Springs/Under Armour BMW M3.

The June race at the Mid Ohio Sports Car Course was for 89 laps/2.5 hours which the SPEED Channel edited to a two-hour broadcast for Sunday. SPEED will have re-broadcasts of the race Tuesday, July 11 and Monday, July 24.

The Mid Ohio race was round 6 of the 10-race season. The next event will be July 28-29 at Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Alabama.
