Description:  Suspension mounts are designed to absorb the energy of the shocks and springs and isolate road harshness from the chassis. But over time the original rubber mounts will crumble and fail. We have stock mounts and bushings as well as a wide selection of upgraded and heavier-duty for performance street cars. E30 Solid Differential and Subframe Mount Kit (3 piece kit)

1984-1991 TMS E30 solid subframe and differential mount bushing kit is modeled after the stock BMW bushings, but we have incorporated ideas from our current race style solid bushings from other models. A BMW’s subframe is the heart of the rear suspension. Note we consider the differential part of the subframe, as it is a stress member system. When the subframe moves, so do all of the rear suspension mounting points. Replacing the stock rubber bushings will limit drivetrain and suspension movement and keep your car’s suspension geometry the way it’s supposed to be. "We have the lightest solid bushings on the market." We've also made provisions in the bushings for removal, so should you need to replace your subframe, you will not have to buy new bushings. Kit includes one Racing Delrin Differential Mount. This kit is a legal upgrade in many racing classes.

Note we also sell the Solid Differential mount and Subframe Mounts separately, for those that may already have one of the products or if you desire spares for fast installation. A common example is if you have two differentials with covers, and want to make fast gearing changes at the track.

Suspension Mount Kit for E30 3 Series

The E30 3 Series Suspension Mount Kit includes two OEM front strut tower mounts with bearings, ten M8 13mm head Nyloc nuts, a pair of rear shock tower mount gaskets and your choice of three different rear shock mounts.  You can choose from the HD OEM Rear Mounts, the "Repair Shop" Lifetime Warranty Mounts, or the High Performance Aluminum & Rubber Mounts.  Any of these mounts are suitable for street use, we recommend the Performance Aluminum & Rubber Mounts for coil-over suspensions or for cars that see a lot of track use.  When you replace spring or shocks & struts in your car, these mounts must be removed and reinstalled anyway. Do it at the same time you replace shocks to save yourself the the increased labor time if they go bad soon after shock/strut install.

1984-1998 Anytime that you replace your front control arms (which should be often), you must replace your control arm bushings. The reason is because it’s hard to tell if you’re bushings are really bad and they are often destroyed when removed. These bushings have the hole in the center and came standard on the 318i/325i.

For convenience, we carry spare bushing carrier brackets (part# TSU9995PB3, see illustation above) and can pre-install your bushings into the carriers, if you choose. This will save you from needing a hydraulic press and will allow you (or your mechanic) to perform the install much quicker. This is especially useful if you want to have a set of race or track spares, ready to go. 1984-1991 E30 rear subframe mounts are notorious for going bad. When they do, the subframe will move around and making a very annoying clunking sound. A loose subframe also plays havoc with your suspension's alignment and settings. Stiffer Group N mounts are also available. $54.00

1982-1991 Front upper strut bearings last quite a long time. But if you're doing new front struts and the current mounts have more than 150,000 miles it would be a good idea to get new upper mounts as well. These mounts are the standard orientation, not offset.

1982-1992 This genuine BMW upper strut mount is "offset" and adds more negative camber (or removes camber if installed in reverse) to the front of your E30/E24 or E28. These are a must for any track/autocross-driven BMW because they decrease understeer! 1983-2005 The rear mounts in BMW 3 series fail, no matter what year from 1983 to present, that is a weak point of the suspension. Here's the solution. The 3 Series "Repair Shop" Rear Shock Mounts carry a lifetime warranty and will last as long as you own your car. Expect the same comfortable ride you have with factory mounts. These are an inexpensive alternative to expensive factory mounts.

1984-2005 Made in the USAWant the Ultimate design in a rear shock tower mount? You've found it. These rear shock mounts are designed for use on the track and racing. This set of mounts will help your rear shocks perform the best they can in those conditions. The advantage to using a mount with spherical bearing is that it allows the shock to freely move off axis without side loading the shock shaft like rubber or polyurethane mounts do. Side loading a shock increases stiction and wear which decreases its efficiency. Because these are mounts without an isolator (rubber or polyurethane) to dampen road noise and vibrations we do not recommend them for street cars. These were designed in-house and developed for our own track and race cars.

These TMS bearing mounts include both 10mm and 12mm stainless steel bearing sleeves to work with a wide variety of shock shaft pins. The pin is the upper-most portion of the shock where it passes through the mount. If you need a bearing sleeve size other then 10mm or 12mm please contact us.

Made from a 75D Polyurethane, for minimal movent with good geometry set. Installation of this kit will dramatically reduce unwanted movement in the rear trailing arms of the vehicle - limiting tow and camber changes.
