These heavy-duty clutch kits use aluminum lightweight flywheels with sport clutch components to give your clutch the grip and clamping force it needs to cope with high torque upgrades. Our kits were developed through racing programs by companies affiliated with our own race team - JB Racing, Sachs Sport, OS Giken, and UUC Motorwerks. JB Racing is the leader in aluminum lightweight flywheel upgrades. They are direct replacements for the stock dual-mass flywheels with steel contact surfaces and computer balanced to 14,000 RPM. JB has partnered with Sachs to spec sport/HD clutch discs and pressure plates that work seamlessly with their aluminum flywheels. The result is a clutch/flywheel upgrade package that functions a lot like the original clutch combo with near-stock levels of effort and engangement but with a much higher torque capacity. Give your factory clutch a heavier motorsport feel or make your extremely tough clutch more drivable! If you have an E36 there is absolutely no reason you don't have this clutch pedal! Your factory E36 clutch pedal is made of flimsy plastic with no adjustment at all, leaving you to the mercy of the clutch you have.

Our Turner Performance Adjustable Clutch Pedal is a rigid design that gives you the ability to fully adjust your clutch feel and performance. With both upper and lower adjustments this is the best pedal on the market to fine tune your clutch pedal just the way you like it. The upper eccentric provides an adjustable pedal ratio to fine tune clutch pedal effort(how heavy the pedal feels). The lower adjustment is to change the position of the clutch assist spring, this allows you to choose where the clutch assisting spring engages. Changing where the spring engages will move the area of tension on your clutch from lower, middle to higher for maximum adjustment.

Your race car no longer needs to have a clutch that makes the car undriveable on the street. Your track car can now be your daily driver or weekend cruiser.

The technical core of this kit is our dual-geometry flywheel. By utilizing this specialized design, you can retain your engine-side stock starter while using the factory clutch and throw-out bearing from your donor transmission. This ensures a precise fit and a firm, factory-like shifting feel that can handle significantly more power than older 5-speed setups. To guarantee a fitment, we’ve included a precision drill guide for bellhousing alignment and a universal pilot bearing pin to simplify the installation process.

This kit uses the stock E36 M3 clutch with a JB Racing aluminum flywheel for an outstanding improvement in the non-M E36 328i/is. The stock M3 clutch is larger than the E36 328i disc and was used in the 321hp Euro M3 � way more clutch than you need on a 2.8-liter M52 (even supercharged cars). But because it�s a factory clutch the feel, durability, engagement, fitment, etc are OE spec! This package is in one of our own E36 328�s and has performed perfectly in over 60,000 miles of use.

    If you own an E36 but have never done a clutch job, you�re in for an unpleasant surprise! The stock flywheels don�t usually last much longer than 100,000 miles. You might be able to have it machined but only if you�re lucky. The best route is to have a new flywheel on hand when installing the clutch. This package is actually about the same price as buying a new OEM clutch and new OEM flywheel! And there�s a big performance boost!

    What about noise? This package was installed in Drew�s 1994 325is 60,000 miles ago. �I expected a trade-off when putting the aluminum flywheel on but the rattle is way less than what I was scared into believing. The rattle is not there all the time. And when I do hear it, I know what it is and immediately dismiss it. I�ve never had a bystander tell me to get my car checked out. And I�ve never had a passenger comment on it � they just ask why I�m revving the car so high� Without a doubt this will be a repeat mod on a future car. I�m using the regular Red Line MTL oil too.�

    Clutch pedal feeling stiff? Possible culprit may be your car's slave cylinder. The slave draws fluid from the brake reservoir and applies it to the clutch fork/throw-out bearing. A bad slave cylinder could leave you stranded. Also a must for when upgrading to an M3 flywheel/clutch assembly. Alternate part number 21526775924.

    This brass clutch pivot pin is an upgrade over the stock plastic pivot pin. The brass pin will last a lot longer than the plastic piece and may save you time and hassle later on. The original plastic pivot pin is known to fall out, snap, or just wear out over time. At the least you get a very annoying squeak every time you depress the clutch. In a worse case scenario, the clutch fork won't be able to push on the throw-out bearing and your clutch will be useless. The only time to replace the clutch pivot pin is when the transmission is removed, so this brass upgrade can be installed during clutch replacements or a rear main seal service.

    This is the factory clutch release fork for many BMW models with manual transmissions. The throw out bearing rides on the clutch release fork. While replacing other clutch components it may be a good idea to replace the forkalong with the throw out bearing.

There are several deficiences with rubber, especially as it ages - when new the rubber expands and swells under pressure and the pedal can feel spongy. As rubber ages and is exposed to extreme temperatures the rubber can harden and even shrink (common on brake hoses), which results in a stiff pedal. Rubber clutch lines do not stand up to the stresses of hard use. ECS Exact-Fit stainless reinforced clutch lines provide more confident and dependable shifting by maintaining consistent line pressure, long lasting corrosion resistance, and increased protection from failure. These lines are reinforced with braided stainless steel mesh, affording superior expansion resistance. This resistance to expansion creates a firmer pedal, and a more direct clutch pedal feel. The signature red polymer coating provides additional protection from the elements and abrasion.

    Some modifications to your vehicle may not produce power to create gains in the overall performance of your driving. When you add a "Po' Boy" clutch stop to your BMW the performance gain is directly felt in the driving experience.

    The ECS clutch stop allows the driver to fine tune the position of the clutch pedal to closely match the engagement point for precise, quicker shifting. The adjustment range found in this product can be set to the stock engagement point or can be adjusted to follow the wear of the clutch.  Meaning your new experience will never change all the way to the end of the clutch life and can be reset to enjoy the next clutch.

    Note: This modification might require some slight modification to the clutch switch mounting bracket, which can be bent slightly by hand.

    Lightweight flywheels have proven themselves to be a worthwhile performance enhancement. But with the quicker throttle response and horsepower improvement comes one serious drawback: flywheel chatter. Without the dual-mass flywheel's rubber isolators, a lightweight aluminum flywheel has more rattle than stock. ECS has designed this flywheel using chrom-moly steel and it weighs almost ten pounds less than the stock DMF but not as extreme as full aluminum flywheels. The steel helps dampen vibration and noise so you get near-factory refinement and most of the benefits of a lightweight flywheel: quicker throttle response, better reliability, and more power to the wheels. This flywheel requires the E34 M5 sprung hub clutch kit.

    Modern flywheels are built with additional components that are designed to dampen and minimize vibrations from the engine and transmission. Weight has increased and reliability has decreased. With additional weight more energy is required for it to move. A lightweight flywheel does away with the dual mass design and its additional mass so more energy can be diverted to where it counts most - moving the car. The flywheel and clutch is one of the first areas that engine builders address when making the rotating assembly lighter for race engines. The dampening effect is just not needed on cars that are focused on performance. And with a single-mass flywheel the unreliable DMF design is eliminated.

The JB Racing aluminum flywheels are a direct replacement for the stock flywheel and work with stock clutch components for an easy upgrade with very little downside.

    Modern flywheels are built with additional components and features that are designed to dampen and minimize vibrations from the engine and transmission. As a result they have become bloated in weight and that means more energy is used up just making the flywheel spin. The weight difference between an aluminum and steel flywheel is huge - sometimes more than 50% less. Without the additional mass, more energy can be diverted to where it counts most - moving the car. The flywheel and clutch is one of the first areas that engine builders address when making the rotating assembly lighter for race engines. The dampening effect is just not needed on cars that are focused on performance.

    In addition to releasing more power to the wheels, the lighter flywheel allows the engine to spin more freely, which improves throttle response. Again, the difference is huge as you watch the revs build faster than before. With the engine spinning easier the power band comes up much sooner. The stock steel flywheel feels lazy in comparison. There is a driving adjustment required to get used to how much faster the engine revs but that's not really a downside.

    The JB lightweight flywheel is designed to be used with a factory organic clutch - the same clutch kit that you would get from any BMW dealer. This makes replacement clutch components easy to source and inexpensive when compared to specialized racing clutches. By using the factory BMW clutch, JB has also made the whole assembly easy to live with when used on the street. The clutch behaves the same as it originally did - just with better throttle response and more power! The JB flywheel can also be rebuilt with a new clutch contact surface - you don't have to buy a new flywheel.

    Aluminum flywheels are considered 'single-mass' flywheels because they do not have the same dampening designs as an original 'dual-mass' flywheel. With a single-mass design more noise and vibration may be noticeable. There are steps you can take to minimize the noise - heavier weight transmission oil and clutch discs with anti-rattle springs (sprung-hub clutch). In addition to the standard replacement clutches, we also sell Sachs Performance sprung hub clutches that also work with the JB flywheels.

    Whether you're replacing a worn-out clutch or upgrading for increased power handling, this E34 M5 clutch kit offers a reliable solution for enhanced pedal feel, power capacity, and overall driving satisfaction.

    Paired with a modified geometry flywheel, the E34 M5 style clutch is ideally suited for most E36, E46, and others using the same powertrain. It checks all the boxes for essential clutch replacement features. While some aftermarket options may address slipping issues and worn-out clutches, they often sacrifice pedal feel, providing little to no resistance. A soft clutch not only kills the driving experience of your BMW but also reduces confidence when pushing the car to its limits.

    On the contrary, you might be in the market for an upgraded clutch to handle your modified engine/forced induction builds. You go from an OE or aftermarket clutch option that has a lackluster and soft pedal feel to the complete opposite side of the spectrum, a very stiff clutch that grabs like an on-and-off switch making the clutch a pain almost undrivable on the street resulting in your favorite car turning into your least favorite car to drive.

    Replace your sloppy and squeaky clutch pedal with this Genuine BMW clutch pedal. The E36 clutch pedal is notorious for becoming sloppy with lots of left/right movement and for being squeaky. Often replacing just the bushings will not solve the issue. We recommend replacing the clutch pedal arm and installing upgraded clutch arm bushings.

    Lightweight flywheels have proven themselves to be a worthwhile performance enhancement. But with the quicker throttle response and horsepower improvement comes one serious drawback: flywheel chatter. Without the dual-mass flywheel's rubber isolators, a lightweight aluminum flywheel has more rattle than stock. ECS has designed this flywheel using chrom-moly steel and it weighs almost ten pounds less than the stock DMF but not as extreme as full aluminum flywheels. The steel helps dampen vibration and noise so you get near-factory refinement and most of the benefits of a lightweight flywheel: quicker throttle response, better reliability, and more power to the wheels. Zero-balanced and SFI 1.1 certified (material and design has been independently burst tested to ensure quality and safety). This flywheel requires the E34 M5 sprung hub clutch kit. Choose below from the flywheel only or a complete kit.

    Modern flywheels are built with additional components that are designed to dampen and minimize vibrations from the engine and transmission. Weight has increased and reliability has decreased. With additional weight more energy is required for it to move. A lightweight flywheel does away with the dual mass design and its additional mass so more energy can be diverted to where it counts most - moving the car. The flywheel and clutch is one of the first areas that engine builders address when making the rotating assembly lighter for race engines. The dampening effect is just not needed on cars that are focused on performance. And with a single-mass flywheel the unreliable DMF design is eliminated.

    Stock flywheel weight - 25.0lbs
