E36 E36 M3 OBD-II TMS/Conforti Performance Packages
Description:
The 1996 E36 M3 addressed many issues that customers had with the 1995 M3, namely a lack of torque. BMW increased capacity and designed a new intake manifold to improve low and midrange torque. Turner Motorsport has taken that concept further to make even more mid-range torque and improve top-end horsepower. We have developed multiple Stages of increasing modification and performance to extract the most from the S52 design.
While the recent trend has been to add the M50 intake manifold to make more top-end power, we feel that most street drivers will want to keep the torquey layout of the stock S52 manifold. A high horsepower number is great to brag about but a long power band is ultimately faster. If all-out power is what you're after, and don't mind losing bottom-end, we offer M50 manifold options on Stage 3 (cams) and Stage 4 (cams, headers). Otherwise, our S52 kits are the best torque producers on the market short of forced-induction. Our Stages are designed for maximum power improvement but not at the expense of reliability and drivability. We do nothing detrimental to the current characteristics of your car - the idle is smooth and the appearance is similar to stock but when you get on it – hold on, it’s a TOTALLY different car!
