E60 Performance Software: 2005+ Cars

Description:  TMS Performance Engine Software represents the most cost-effective approach to increasing engine performance. It has been dyno-tested to provide a safe increase in power by altering fuel enrichment, cam timing and ignition timing specifically for use with premium gasoline. TMS Performance Engine Software also provides an increase in the factory rev-limit allowing for optimum shift points for maximum acceleration. Not only do we re-map part-throttle fuel and spark, we also re-map other areas of chips other tuners don't touch - such as acceleration enrichment, transition fueling (how the car responds to rapid change in pedal, and VANOS control as needed to optimize the vehicle for operation on premium fuel. It takes advantage of premium fuels from 91 AKI to 95 AKI and higher. There is no need for separate octane related variants with this software!

E60 M5 / E63 M6 Stage II Engine Upgrade - Front Pre-Cat Delete & Rear Sport Cat Kit
M5 M6 (E60 E63)
2006-2010 The stock M5/M6 has a front set of catalytic converters ("pre-cats") that are integrated into the "headers". These produce a large amount of restriction, robbing your V10 of precious torque. To counter-act this, our kit replaces these restrictive front cats with "straight pipes" and incorporates a pair of sport catalytic converters further down the exhaust pipe - which unleashes big horsepower. To make this all work, our Stage II software (a reflash of your engine computer) is included. In addition to adjusting the V10's fuel, spark, and vanos maps to take advantage of the freer-flowing manifolds and cats, it also removes the top speed limiter and disables the rear O2 sensors (for no Check Engine light). Look at the dyno chart - this kit offers +40lb/ft torque over stock and +25 more horsepower - AT THE WHEELS ! This is power you can feel in every gear.

click to enlarge The gains from this kit, which we have personally dyno tested (see dyno chart) are just about equal to the gains we have seen on complete aftermarket header / sport cat systems that cost $11,500 (!!). This tells us that the BMW factory headers are efficient and the real bottleneck in the stock system is the pre-cats (which the aftermarket headers eliminate). As this kit requires welding of the straight pipes onto your stock headers, we suggest professional installation.

Stage 2 software also available separately, and is recommended for cars that have aftermarket headers and/or cars where cats have been completey removed. We were THE first company in the USA to offer reliable dyno developed performance software for the 135, 335 and 535 - and it makes AMAZING POWER! +70hp and +80lb/ft of torque over stock! That's 330.7 hp to the wheels and 359 lb ft of torque, as measured at the rear wheels -- just imagine how much power that is at the crank! Can you say faster than a M3? There are no down sides of this modification, other than needing 91 or higher octane gas. We modify fuel and spark mapping, adjust the valvaetronic (throttle), and most importantly INCREASE THE BOOST to a safe, reliable amount.

This is the perfect upgrade for someone who wants a dramatic but safe boost in power -- especially in the low to mid-range. Check out the dyno sheet: with the Stage 1 TMS performance software your car will have MUCH more torque at ALL RPM, including down low (where you want it) for remarkably better torque. This is HUGE torque that is a NIGHT AND DAY difference. If you are in the Boston area, make an appointment to stop by for a road test. Our 335 with this software is simply "Nutty!", as others have put it. 91 or higher octane gasoline is required. Please keep in mind that with a "turbo car" it is "easy" to make horsepower by increasing boost BUT keeping your BMW reliable is the most important thing to Turner motorsport. Others may claim to make more power to make our software seem a little conservative, but we're confident this is the perfect compromise -- the most power made within the safe limits of your engine. Stage 1 Performance Software for BMW E90/E91 325i (N52) & E60 525i (N52)
325i, 525i, Z4 2.5 (E90 E91 E60 Z4)
2005-2006 It's here ! Software to bring the power of your E90 325i up closer to the 330i (or your 525i closer to a 530i, or Z4 2.5 closer to a Z4 3.0) is now available. After all - your 325i engine is almost virtually identical to the 330 engine. Both 325 and 330 share the SAME 3.0 liter engine and internals. BUT the 325i came saddled with a more restrictive exhaust & catalytic converters, a single stage intake manifold (vs the 3-stage manifold of the 330i), and BMW's "detuned" engine computer. It's time to get that power back!



Stage 1 is a reprogram of the current software of your engine computer. We modify the computer's fuel and spark mapping, adjust the throttle, adjust the cam and Valvetronic timing, and remove the top speed limiter - basicaly "unlocking" a good portion of the 330 in your 325. This is the perfect upgrade for someone who wants to boost power, especially in the mid-range, and make the car accelerate faster. We recorded a Maximum gain of 19hp @4700 RPM and 15ft-lbs of torque gain @4500 RPM on our Dynapack dyno. The seat of your pants gain is amazing -- its like driving a different car after this software change. There are NO downsides of doing this except 91 or higher octane gasoline is required.

Maximum gain: the largest difference in the curve before and after the software change. This is different than "peak gain" -- the gain from where the highest HP and Torque figure were before the software was installed. The gains made by this software between 3500 and 5500 are simply a night and day change!
