Since trying the first set of these pads back in 1991, TMS has loved this "all around" pad for driver's schools and light track use! Unlike other racing pads these pads will work great when stone cold. Although we do not recommend that you used these on the street, due to the noise and dust they produce, they can be installed at home and driven to the track. Cool Willy brake pads are based on the popular Porterfield R-4 racing pads, and made of a unique mixture of carbon and Kevlar combined with an exclusive ceramic insulator. This compound has excellent wear characteristics, (easy on rotors), high temperature fade resistance, and medium-high coefficient of friction.
