larger 		2002 Schrick Camshaft
 2002 (2002) 		1968-1973 Performance cams for M10 engines in the 2002. Schrick makes a variety of cams for the '02 -- from a mild upgrade to highly-aggressive. The specs on the mild 284-deg allow for good mid-range and bottom end and a small increase in the top end. The 292 gives much better punch in the mid range and top end without a loss at the bottom. The 304 makes big power at the top end but sacrifices low end and should only be used with larger carburetors. Schrick High-Performance valve springs are strongly recommended. Schrick makes other cams but they are intended only for serious, professionally-built motors with big carbs.

 M3 (E30) 		1987-1991 276-deg Performance Camshaft. This is the next step above the Evo 2/3 cams that we also sell and will produce greater top-end power with only slight loss in torque. This cam can be used on the intake side with a stock exhaust cam OR it can be used on the exhaust side with the 284-deg Schrick cam as the intake. $548.00

larger 		E30 325i, E34 525 (M20) 272 degree Schrick Camshaft
 325i, 525i (E30 E34) 		1987-1991 The 272-degree Schrick Camshaft is 1 step up from the stock cam. The greater lift and duration will boost horsepower at higher rpm where the stock engine may feel a little flat. This is considered a mild, "street" camshaft so low-end torque does not suffer a lot with this cam. Schrick recommends using upgraded valve springs with this cam.

 325i, 525i (E30 E34) 		1987-1991 Schrick's most aggressive cam for the M20 engine. The 304-degree will make big power at the top but there will be a loss of low-end torque so this cam is only recommended for cars that see most of their time above 4000 rpm. Schrick High Performance valve springs are strongly recommended. This cam has a 12.2mm lift and will not clear stock M20 pistons.

larger 		Schrick Solid Lifter Conversion Kit (convert hydraulic lifters to solid lifters)
 M50 M52 S50 S52 M54 (E36 E34 E46 Z3 MZ3) 		1991-2005 One major hurdle for a track-only car is the limitation of the hydraulic valve lifters in the M50, S50-US, M52, S52-US, M52TU, and M54 engines. These effectively limit your revs to 7200-7300 RPM as the valves 'float' at higher revs, leading to piston-valve contact. By converting to a machined solid lifter, and upgrading other areas of the engine, you can configure the valve train to withstand high RPM running. Not only can you tune for more power, you can help prevent damage during a mild mechanical over-rev.

This kit gives kincludes the mechanical spacers to convert hydraulic lifter tappets to solid lifters (like that of the S54 engine). The lifter bucket remains in place with the Schrick solid tappet replacing the original. These work on all M50, M52, S50, S52 and M54 engines and were proven in normally aspirated as well as supercharged engines. These can be used with a variety of camshafts, provided your valvetrain setup allows for them.

Professional installation and setup is mandatory as these require complete assembly of the head, checking valve lash, then dis-assembly and machining of the Schrick tappet to spec. This kit includes enough spacers for 24 valves. We also carry individual parts, if you are looking for single pieces. This price is for a full set of 24. 		$279.84

larger 		E36 M3, MZ3, M52 inc 2.8 1995-99 Schrick Camshafts 256/264 (pair)
 M3 (US), MZ3, 328, 528, Z3 (E36 Z3 E39) 		1995-2000 For the US E36 M3. Schrick 264/256 degree camshafts boost mid-high end power for that extra motivation at higher rpm. Low-end torque is not seriously affected due to the M50/M52s VANOS System. And, higher profile cams work extremely well with an upgraded intake and exhaust. When upgrading the cams there are other areas you must take into consideration. Higher-flow fuel injectors, larger mass-air sensor, and custom programming are strongly recommended.  M3, M Roadster, M Coupe (E46 S54 MZ3) 		2001-2004 These proved to be an excellent upgrade on our project M3. Smooth as stock idle with a linear increase in horsepower from midrange all the way to redline, Peak gain was +15 HP. There was no loss in low end torque. The Duration of the intake cam is 280 and the exhaust is 272 with 11.6mm lift. These are the new "cast" cams from Schrick they require new rocker arms BMW part # 11 33 7 833 259. Professional installation is a must due to the intricacies with the double vanos.

 M5 M6 (E60 E63) 		2006-- These are the same cams used by many high-end German tuners who are achieving sizable gains on the BMW V10. For the power-hungry, these cams are a great way to achieve a linear increase in horsepower from mid-range all the way to redline, especially when combined with an exhaust and a set of sport catalytic converters.

This kit includes 4 cams -- two intake cams (292 degree, 12.2mm lift) and two exhaust cams (280 degree, 12.2mm lift). Professional installation is a must due to the intricacies of the double vanos.
