 Control Arms

 Description:  These control arms are a direct replacement for your original stock control arms. All track cars should replace control arms a minimum of every two years. Neglecting to replace them often may lead to the failure of the part and loss of vehicle control. We have the orginal steel control arms as well as aluminum parts for the E30 and E36 3-series. You'll also find our assortment of control arm bushings for both street and track use.

 318i/323i/325i/328i/M3 (E30 E36) 		1984-1999 These aluminum control arms, used on later E30M3s, are much lighter and stronger than the original part and are a direct replacement for the stock control arms. Reducing weight will help suspension response and improve steering feel. These are also legal for BMW CCA Club racing. All track cars should replace control arms a minimum of every two years. Neglecting to replace them often may lead to the failure of the part and loss of vehicle control. These will fit all E30 (not ix) models as well as E36! Original BMW part. Price is per arm.

larger 		E46 xi Control Arm Overhaul Kit - 2001 to 2005 325xi & 330xi
 325xi 330xi (E46) 		2001-2005 This package covers the front control arms and bushings on the 2001-2005 E46 325Xi and 330Xi. These cars use a unique front suspension but the principle design – and downside – is the same as almost all of the BMW 3-series since 1984. The inner and outer ball joints see a lot of wear as they are constantly in motion. With the heavy front end of the 4WD Xi, these components need frequent inspection and replacement. When the bushings and ball joints fail, the front end can shimmy and feel loose through the steering wheel. Excess play in the rubber bushings can cause alignment problems and sloppy steering. There is usually a knocking or clunking sound to further annoy you. We've assembled this package to replace everything on both front control arms and restore your BMW's exceptional driving dynamics. All parts are OEM Boge, Lemforder, or Original BMW to maintain the highest quality standard.

As an option, we can pre-install the control arm bushings into new brackets for you. This normally requires much haggling and frustration without the proper hydraulic press. But in our Service shop, we can assemble everything for you so your parts will be ready to bolt on as soon as they arrive on your doorstep! (sorry, no returns accepted on pre-assembly labor fee, please)

 325xi 330xi (E46) 		2001-2006 These are stock replacement control arm bushings for all 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005 325xi & 330xi, the all-wheel-drive model E46 chassis 3 series. These are a common failure item on all 325xi and 330xi, and a new set will reduce many front end alignment and steering feel issues. This is a pair (2 bushings)

For convenience, we carry spare bushing carrier brackets (part# TSU4695PBX, see illustation above) and can pre-install your bushings into the carriers, if you choose. This will save you from needing a hydraulic press and will allow you (or your mechanic) to perform the install much quicker. This is especially useful if you want to have a set of race or track spares, ready to go. larger 		E46 ZHP Sport Control Arm (fit Z4)
 323, 328, 325, 330, Z4 (E46 Z4) 		1999-2005 These are the factory control arms for the "M" sport suspension -- a direct replacement for the ZHP/Performance package 330i, and a great upgrade for all cars that did not come with them, as they feature solid ball joints (no rubber failure prone ball joints here!) and overall are "more beefy" and durable. They will NOT fit the XI all-wheel-drive cars, or M3.

 X5 (E53) 		2000-2006 This is a replacement stock front LEFT lower control arm, that fits all E53 Chassis X5 (the 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006 models).
