First, remove the two Torx screws above the
monitor (the stereo / navagation screen). Use a T10 Torx socket to
remove screws.
|
The monitor easily comes out as a single
piece. No need unplug the monitor, just let it hang off to the side.
|

You will see a cable secured to a clip. Un-clip
the cable and you can spin it (by hand) and the HUD will move left and right.
|

Further back and to the left is a 13mm nut
on a shaft that has 6mm hex end. Loosen the 13mm silver nut a full
turn or two. To loosen, use a 13mm deep socket with a long
extension, ¼ inch or 3/8 inch tools will work fine for this. |

Now to twist this shaft, use a 6mm socket on a
long extension. There seems to be a low and
high position, anything in the middle seems too hard to get it to stay in
position. Tighten the lock nut, check
the tilt with the cable, install the main screen with two torx screws.

DONE!
