First, we carefully inspected the stock
exhaust system configuration. |
Second, we laid out the new system and made
sure everything was there. |
A "mock" installation helps ensure
everything will fit nicely later. |

prior to cutting the stock system. |
With new system in place in the
"mock" position, we marked our cutting points.

We set the stock exhaust aside and removed the
rubber hangers that will be used later.

We left the mounting points loose until
final adjustments were made. |
We use an exhaust sealing compound between all
joints to ensure a leak-free installation.

We found the mufflers to slide on easily to
the straight pipe section. |
We now had everything in place and were ready
to start tightening down mounting points.
