This BMW E46 M3 has huge provenance within the North American BMW motorsports history. Developed alongside the sister #96 E46 M3 and driven by nearly all of the Turner Motorsport drivers, with setup and development done by drivers with factory BMW Motorsport experience. This car has raced since 2006, recording three wins and five poles, and is the only BMW E46 M3 to win a Grand Am Cup Drivers and Team Championship (2006, Anders Hainer & Boris Said).

This car represents the pinnacle of E46 M3 motorsport development in the endurance Grand Am Cup/Koni Challenge series, if not in the entire North American racing community. Turner Motorsport has been the most successful BMW team in North America in the last six years. In its current form, built to the 2009 Koni Challenge GS rules, the #97 E46 M3 is a proven winner – taking victory at Daytona and Lime Rock Park. Equipped with the best possible components, and spared no expense in development and setup, this car is offered for sale in turn-key condition, refreshed after the last race (Daytona January 2010, where it was running 7th utnil a flat tire caused it to pit) and ready to be competitive again for the rest of the 2010 season.
