This is a rare interior piece from the ultra-rare 1995 M3 LTW lightweight edition. It's a hand crafted carbon fiber trimmed ashtray insert for the center console. This is the Genuine BMW part, as found on the M3 LTW and Euro M3 GT, which fits all E36 from 1992-1999 including M3, 328i, 328is, 325i, 325is, 318i & 318is. This ashtray replaces the front ashtray in the E36 center console. Other parts will be required if you do not already have a front ashtray, possibly deleting your cupholders.

The carbon fiber on this piece is very unique and identifiable as the genuine BMW part, as there is a distinct red stripe within the carbon fiber weave, and a slight green/yellow hue. As such, this carbon fiber does not match your typical aftermarket carbon fiber trim pieces.
