This Genuine BMW Motorsport oil pan baffle kit is designed for use on all M54 dual vanos engines. Once installed, this kit makes your oil pan completely baffled to prevent oil starvation. The kit also includes parts to address a common issue that can cause the oil pump shaft to shear off (this spells certain doom, when it happens!). Turner Motorsport has used this kit on all of our World Challenge and GrandAm 325 and 330 race cars. We're happy to report that since using the BMW Motorsport oil pan baffle/impeller upgrade, we have had 0 (zero!) oil related engine failures -- in over 100 races(!) If you plan on campaigning an M54 powered race car, this kit is the best insurance policy for your oiling system.

Kit includes all necessary parts for conversion, including oil pan baffles, deflectors, oil pump rotor, oil pump sprocket & chain, and all small hardware (nuts, bolts, shims, etc) required. Not all parts included are pictured.
