  • The Shark Injector is an amazing hand-held unit that re-flashes your car with performance software. What really sets this software apart is how easy and effective it is without any further modifications. This software tool re-flashes the stock BMW computer through your car’s diagnostic port and was developed by renowned BMW tuner Jim Conforti, who has over 20 years of BMW engine tuning experience. The Shark Injector is one of the safest and most cost-effective enhancements you can do – offering features and results that other upgrades simply cannot touch.

    This software is a major refinement of the stock software. It makes the car much easier to drive with less hesitation, more torque, and incredibly smooth operation. A lot of tuning has been done at the low RPM ranges to improve response. Multiple engine management maps were modified to make more useable power without compromising reliability or drivability. The Shark Injector software modifies the part throttle and full throttle maps for fuel, variable valve timing, ignition, knock sensor control, and other areas to extract more power. The car won’t hesitate or lag, making the car easier to drive. And with the extra torque you can drive in a higher gear and not have to downshift as often. Theoretically this means better fuel mileage too!

    This Shark Injector works on the 2001-2006 E46 325 and 330, including 325i M54/M56, 325xi, 325Ci, 330i, 330xi, 330Ci (including ZHP).

    330i ZHP Rev Limit: there are multiple versions of stock ZHP software and BMW used different rev limits in some of them. A ZHP automatic will always have a lower rev limit than a manual in the interest of preserving the automatic transmission. Our engine software will alter the rev limit set in the ECU but other limits in the auto transmission programming will maintain the factory rev limit. Manual ZHPs have stock rev limits that vary - some are set as high as 6920 by the factory software. The Shark ZHP software sets all manual tranmission rev limits to 6920.

    Scott, 330i ZHP: "Very increased acceleration - especially from around 3,000 to 6,000. The car feels like a bullet! It is the same smooth kind of power too - just more of it, delivered continuously to the top rpm. So 3rd feels more like 2nd gear now! Throttle transitions are much more refined. So when in low gears, on and off throttle changes are very seamless and smooth (no jerking) - and the change has made shifting gears easier - especially first to second. So now my car is much more fun to drive and shows engine performance that is better matched to the incredible handling ability it has. I'm very pleased with this upgrade and can't thank you enough!!!

    Does your 325 have the M56 "SULEV" Engine? Many of the 325's produced for the US -- particularly in California, Massachusetts, and a few other states -- came with a different engine, the M56 which meets "SULEV" (Super Ultra Low Emission Vehicle) emissions classification. A visual inspection of your engine (as shown below) is the best way to determine if your 325 has the M56 SULEV engine.

    Wow. I liked my ZHP a lot. And I liked the engine. I also take reviews on websites with a shaker of salt. You always have to wonder if they were written by "friends"... But this Shark Injector is NO JOKE. The instant response. The smooth and almost "elastic" torque curve. No more throttle lag. Noticeably more power. No more stumbles. This thing is amazing. Like a whole new car. Thank you guys again for a great product. Worth every penny! -Chris

    Installed on a 2006 330Cic ZHP 6 MT 105k miles. Throttle response improvement alone is worth the money. The 3200 rpm dip in power is no more.

    This product not only improved performance, but I get less of a drop in power between 3,000 and 3500 rpms. I would say this update was way worth it due to that alone. This is also a performance tune, so all I need now is the cams. It will finish the zhp conversion for my 04 330xi.
