This adapter is designed to mount a M54B30 3.0L drive-by-wire throttle body to a M50 2.5L/3.0L Intake Manifold when also used with an aftermarket engine management system. The advantages of using a drive-by-wire throttle body over a mechanically-operated one are:

Auto blip (important when using a sequential gearbox)

Our adapter plate is drilled and tapped to allow the drive-by-wire throttle body to mount in 6 different orientations on the M50 intake manifold. The plate mounts flush to the manifold with 4 flat head M6 Allen bolts (included). The throttle body mounts to the adapter with 4 M6 hex head bolts (not included, original mounting bolts can be re-used).
