E82 135i/1M, E9X 335i Active Autowerke Race Intercooler Kit - (NO LONGER AVAILABLE)

The AA Race Intercooler for the N54 engine in the 135i, 1M, and 335i is the biggest we have available! The Race FMIC was engineered to be the biggest available for the confined space in the front end. It was developed especially for time trial events like the One Lap of America and Time Attack. By moving the intercooler forward, increasing surface area, and including a shroud in the design, the AA FMIC has a 'ram-air' effect to scoop as much incoming cooling air as possible. There is no other intercooler for cars that are boosted to the extreme.

The core is 88% larger than the factory intercooler. The core itself measures 18"x12"x3.5". New silicone and aluminum pipes, hose clamps, and detailed instructions are included for a complete installation. Installation requires removing the front bumper and trimming of various plastic shields and ducts.

Testing on Active's in-house Mustang dyno showed a 30 degree drop in intake manifold temperature and a 12rwhp gain.
