This special version of the Shark Injector also addresses problems associated with the infamous Secondary Air Injection system. This software will prevent fault codes that occur due to blockages of the SAI system due to carbon build-up, a very common problem on the M5. The Shark Injector is an amazing hand-held unit that downloads Conforti performance engine software directly into your 2000-2003 E39 M5 or 1999-2002 Z8 Roadster. The installation takes only minutes and is doen through the OBD-II diagnostic port in your dash. Conforti software represents the most cost-effective approach to increasing engine performance. It has been dyno-tested to provide a safe increase in power by altering fuel enrichment, cam timing and ignition timing specifically for use with premium gasoline. You can also choose between the stock rev limit (7000) or raised to 7400 RPM for optimum shift points and maximum acceleration. Not only do we re-map part-throttle fuel and spark, we also re-map other areas of chips other tuners don't touch - such as acceleration enrichment, transition fueling (how the car responds to rapid change in pedal), and VANOS control as needed to optimize the vehicle for operation on premium fuel (91 or 93 octane). This version of the Shark software uses the Euro throttle settings which are smoother and more linear than the stock US throttle programming.

Now you can get the best power, in ALL gears! As BMW tuned the M5 quite "modestly" in the lower gears, this software makes some impressive gains in 1st, 2nd and 3rd gears. Of course it also makes a measureable amount of torque and horsepower in the upper gears as well!
