This GTD-spec BMW Z4 might have a steel chassis produced on the same production line as the road-going Z4, but don't be fooled. This isn't anything you can buy at your local BMW dealership. This is a 100 percent, track-only machine from BMW Motorsport. It incorporates a rigid chassis with numerous carbon fiber components, including all body panels, such as the fenders, hood, roof and trunk. Turner's Z4 was purchased and modified to meet new TUDOR United SportsCar Championship GT-Daytona (GTD) specifications.

The GS-class E92 M3s are based on actual street cars. We purchased used M3s and completely stripped and rebuilt them into racecars. The cars use the factory-original bodywork with upgraded brakes, coil over suspensions, bigger wheels and tires. With the car stripped of all street trim, it is are several hundred pounds lighter than a street car.
