    Turner Motorsport E46 M3 Page
    Since receiving our first one in March, 2001 we have been at the forefront of E46 M3 tuning throughout the world. Turner M3s have wowed enthusiasts and the motoring press as well as electrified racetracks around the country. Probably no one in the world has such a complete tuning line for the M3 as Turner Motorsport. In addition to established names like Bilstein, StopTech, and Supersprint, we have comissioned our in-house design staff to create products that are functional and exceed our own lofty standards for quality, performance, and durability. Our professional race team has won many races with the E46 M3 in Grand-Am sports car racing, often beating rival BMW teams in addition to numerous other models. We have added that professional racing success to our nearly 20 years of street tuning experience to offer an unmatched line of performance, accessory, and service parts for the E46 M3.

    On March 21, 2001 we received our first E46 M3 coupe. It was one of the first E46 M3s off the production line and we became one of the leading M3 tuners in the world. Our M3 was Imola Red/black interior, with a 6-speed manual and 18" wheels. The car was a huge departure from our previous E36 M3 project car and very much like the Euro E36 M3 cars we built in the past. Finally the US was getting the "real M3" experience! But this car didn't stay within the factory specifications for long. Shortly, the car was in the shop to be picked apart for new go-fast parts!
     
    The stock software on the M3 feels unfinished and unrefined. A software tune is one of the best upgrades you can do to improve the driveability and performance of the car. A car with the Shark Injector software will run smoother and faster than on stock software and you'll wonder how you ever lived without it!     Our sway bars are manufactured by H&R to our own specs. We developed and tested these sway bars over two seasons of racing an M3 in the SCCA T2 series (going to the Runoffs in 2007). Our sway bars are available in a set of front 30mm and rear 25mm to optimize the balance. Both bars are adjustable for pre-load to fine-tune the handling. Teflon-coated urethane bushings are included. These bars will work with the stock links or you can opt for adjustable ones.

    This carbon fiber front airdam/splitter kit will really set your M3 apart. The airdam sits lower and wider on the front bumper resulting in a meaner appearance. Lower splitter dive planes are included as well as adjustable front aluminum hardware. Limited quantity available. Match this up with the carbon rear spoiler for a complete German tuner look!

    This carbon fiber rear wing is a replacement for the M3's stock lip spoiler. It's a stylish piece that will accent the M3's profile perfectly. This wing is three pieces - two endplates and center section - that mounts to the decklid with aluminum posts (drilling required). Limited quantity available.

    These are Turner Motorsport front camber-caster plates for the E46 M3. They are designed by our in-house engineering staff around the kits used in our Championship-winning E46 M3 racecars. The kits are designed for optimum strut fitment and travel. We have two plates available, depending on the springs in your suspension. These camber plates are made from aluminum with a premium bearing and aircraft-grade coating.

    The Supersprint Race mufflers are one of the bests-sounding exhausts in the world. These mufflers replace the bulky stock muffler and bolt to any center section. These mufflers are loud with a racy tone that will impress most enthusiasts. We also offer complete tuned systems with center sections and headers.

    Schrick Camshafts feature higher lift and more duration to maximize intake/exhaust mods, especially at high RPM. We offer two sets of cams - CSL-spec patterned after the factory CSL cams or CSL-upgrade that are very aggressive. We plugged these into one of our Project M3s and saw a linear power increase from mid-range up to rev limit with a smooth idle. Peak gain was +15 HP.

    Turner Motorsport has developed an entire line of stock replacement or racing suspension bushings for the E46 M3. For normal street use, we feel nothing is better than the stock rubber OEM mounts and bushings. These have the highest quality, lowest cost, and least NVH when compared to solid or urethane bushings. For a dedicated track car, we have available solid aluminum or Delrin bushings that will be ideal for racetracks. Solid materials keep the suspension settings where you want them instead of deflecting. They also help to transmit more power to the ground.

    Our adjustable camber arms are designed for street (rubber mount) and track (bearing mount) cars that need to have more camber adjustment than the factory design can provide. These arms are a replacement for the stock camber arm (lower control arm) and are adjustable at both ends. Our arms are also extremely light - weighing only 2lbs per side. Our arms are engineered for maximum adjustment ranges, lightweight, and excellent strength with replaceable components.

    Turner Motorsport sells a variety of intake upgrades for almost any budget. We have replacment panel filters for the stock airbox, cone filter/heat shield kits, and a full carbon fiber "raim-air" system tweaked on our chassis dyno. Choose from our carbon design, aFe, or K&N. Intakes bring a modest power boost and a fantastic sound.

    The BBS RS-GT 19" Diamond Black Wheel Set for the E46 M3, simply awesome.  These wheels give the best deep dish look we have seen so far.  Available in 19" x 8.5" for the Front and 19" x 9.5" for the Rear.

    The installation of an H&R Sport Spring Set dramatically improved the looks and handling characteristics of the M3. These springs drop the car 1.2" in the front and .6" in the rear for a slightly more aggressive stance and improved handling.

    We didn't think a one inch increase in wheel diameter would make such a dramatic improvement, but wow!  What a difference!   Ride quality remained the same while the appearance and handling greatly improved.  Turner Motorsport offers Original BMW 19" wheels for your M3.

    We thought BMW left no room for improvement in braking with their factory equipment.  Man, we're we wrong!  Brembo has developed a kit for the E46 M3 that is nothing less than incredible.  Massive front rotors and calipers for the front, and to balance it out, a caliper and rotor upgrade for the rear.

    Since we had a 2001 M3, it came from the factory without the factory strut brace. But the 2002 and later cars did.  So of course we needed that!  The fully adjustable brace is a breeze to install.  This is a 100% factory BMW kit.  Improves overall handling, front end stability, plus it looks really cool!

    Headers are the #1 upgrade to get more power from the S54 engine. When we drove a Euro-spec M3 for the first time (around the Nurburgring) the additional torque and power were obvious! With the stock US cats in the exhaust manifold, the design is very constricted. By bolting on a set of open headers, gains of up to 25hp can be achieved. Torque is also similarly increased.

    Looking for a lightweight and great sounding exhaust? The Borla fits the bill! We have Borla rear mufflers that are 40lbs lighter than stock. They bolt on to the center section but Borla also offers their own mid-pipe tuned to reduce rasp. This system features 100% T-304 stainless steel construction, 1,000,000 Borla Warranty and has four 3" (76mm) round tips.  Installation is a breeze!  Sounds and looks great.  Borla claims a 12HP gain with this system.  This system weighs in at less than 37 LBS!

    Improve the look of your interior and feel of the steering wheel in your E46 M3 with this factory suede replacement. Installation is very easy. (Requires airbag swap.)     Under drive pulleys slow their related accessories and free up horsepower. There is no downside to using our pulleys - we have designed each one to preserve functionality and reliability for street use and each one is spun from aluminum so there won't be any failed plastic parts. A new, longer belt is included. This is a 3-pulley system to maximize potenital gains (you can also run with the stock alternator pulley). They under-drive the water pump, power steering pump and alternator. Adding these is like getting FREE HORSEPOWER - there are no downsides! These kits have been dyno tested to provide up to 11hp gain!

    The UUC Short Shifter is a perfect, inexpensive upgrade for the new M3.  This kit will greatly improve the feel of the shift throw and will also make for quicker shifts, resulting in better acceleration times.  This kit features a fully adjustable shift lever so you can dial the reduction in exactly where you want it.  UUC makes the best short shift kits we have seen.

    These lines feature a Teflon lining to eliminate "Spongy" brake pedals caused by swelling in conventional lines. No adaptors needed, these lines feature custom fittings to assure a perfect seal. Installation is simple.
