Turner Motorsport began racing in the early-1990s with Will Turner behind the wheel of an E30 325is. Many race wins and several divisional championships later, TMS is still going strong. TMS builds, prepares, and maintains BMWs that win races and set lap records from coast to coast. Our most recent project is an E46 M3 for the ultra-competitive Touring 2 (T2) category. TMS has teamed up with Toyo Tires for the T2 M3 with the goal of winning the SCCARunoffs®. TMS-built racecars are very competitive against tough competition in all classes of Club Racing. The Improved Touring (IT) classes allow the following modifications in building a race car: blueprinting and balancing of the engine, coil-over suspensions, DOT approved race tires, racing brake pads, removal of interior components, roll cage, etc. With over 13 years experience in SCCA, Turner Motorsport can build you or supply you with the best possible equipment to win!
| Turner Motorsport In SPEED World Challenge |

Turner Motorsport took the World Challenge world by storm in 1998 when Will Turner entered eight races and finished in the top ten in each. Each year from that point on, the blue and yellow Turner Motorsport BMWs were a force to be feared at tracks all over the United States and Canada. This World Challenge campaign resulted in Driver's Championships in 2003 and 2004 and Manufacturer's Championships for BMW in 2001, 2003, and 2004. Along the way, Turner Motorsport drivers posted 13 wins and 86 top-five finishes.
At its peak, the World Challenge Touring Car series represented some of the most-advanced racing technology for production cars on the planet. Following a strict formula, the TMS BMWs were built around 2002-04 BMW 325i sedans. Using MoTeC engine management and Conforti software tuning, along with special camshafts, a large intake plenum (but with a sizeable intake restrictor), and custom Borla headers and exhaust, the TMS 2.5-liter inline six put out over 275hp in race trim. Each car was built with H&R suspensions with several major modifications to the chassis by Turner Motorsport, including a full roll cage. To keep the racing action close and exciting series rules dictated that each car race on TOYO RA-1 DOT-approved racing tires instead of full slick tires. Large StopTech Brakes haul the cars down in time for corners.
Turner Motorsport still competes in World Challenge races when races don't conflict with other events. For more information on the series, visit www.world-challenge.com.
| Turner Motorsport In Grand Am Cup Racing |
In 2004, Turner Motorsport expanded its championship-winning race program by entering two 2004 BMW 330i cars in the Grand Am Cup ST class (www.grandamerican.com). Turner Motorsport crushed the competition in their debut season with 1 win, 8 podiums, and 13 top five finishes. Will Turner and Don Salama narrowly missed winning the Championship. In 2005, the team added a 2005 E46 M3 to the stable for the Grand Am Cup GS class. Piloted by BMW hot shoes Bill Auberlen and Justin Marks, the M3 earned five pole positions, and scored five wins and nine top five finishes. The two 330i racecars continued to be a threat for the title in the ST class, adding more poles, podiums, and fastest laps their impressive resume.
The Grand Am Cup series features races of 150-200 miles in length (2 hours) at racetracks all over the U.S., Canada, and even the Caribbean. Two drivers take turns in each car with driver changes happening during mid-race pit stops for fuel and new tires. Turner Motorsport built their ST and GS contenders with the following modifications: blueprinting and balancing of the engine, H&R coil-over suspensions, StopTech Brake Systems, Borla Exhausts, DOT approved race tires, racing brake pads, removal of the interior, roll cage, etc. With over 13 years experience, TurnerMotorsport can build you or supply you with the best possible equipment to win!
