2006 E60 M5 SuperSprint Exhaust Installation
Turner Motorsport received the first SuperSprint Race Exhaust System in North America for the new V10 powered E60 M5!  Below you will see detailed photographs of the installation procedure. Click on the thumbnails for larger version.

First, we carefully inspected the stock exhaust system configuration.	Second, we laid out the new system and made sure everything was there.	A "mock" installation helps ensure everything will fit nicely later.
Check to see if all mounting points line up prior to cutting the stock system.	With new system in place in the "mock" position, we marked our cutting points.	We set the stock exhaust aside and removed the rubber hangers that will be used later.

We left the mounting points loose until final adjustments were made.	We use an exhaust sealing compound between all joints to ensure a leak-free installation.
We found the mufflers to slide on easily to the straight pipe section.	We now had everything in place and were ready to start tightening down mounting points.	The muffler hangers lined up perfectly.
