A BMW's rear subframe is the heart of the suspension. When the subframe moves, so do all the suspension mounting points. Replacing the stock rubber bushings with solid ones limits both drivetrain and suspension movement, eliminating the unwanted movement and keeping your BMW's setup the way it should be. These solid mounts will also help prevent the subframe from tearing out of the chassis on your E90/E92 3 series. We spend lots of extra time machining each TMS subframe mount to keep your car as light as possible. CNC machined from high grade billet aluminum for precision and quality. These solid aluminum subframe bushings are for racing applications only, and can be used on all E90 M3 & E92 M3.

A BMWs sub-frame is the heart of the suspension - as the subframe twists and shifts under load all of the suspension mounting points also move. The rear suspension feels loose and lacks precision. As rubber or hydroelastic bushings wear the bushing deflection gets worse. If you have a highly tuned 335i/xi you're putting even more strain on weak bushings. The solution is a stiffer and more durable material. Even BMW has moved to solid mounts on the F10 M5 and F8X M3/M4. These fully solid E82/E90/E92 aluminum mounts have zero deflection - the subframe does not move at all. The rest of the suspension can work as designed and maintain the proper alignment and motion ratios. The driver will notice the difference as the car is more stable and the handling is more precise.

Although we designed these for use in our racecars, they can work on the street so long as the driver can tolerate some additional noise, vibration, and harshness. These mounts are CNC machined in the USA and made with high-grade aluminum. The set is for all four subframe mounts.

If you're installing a rear shock on your E90 or E92 that utilizes a Spherical Bearing or Rod-End, common in racing shocks/dampers, this is one of the rear mounts needed to attach your shock to the camber arm (this is the LOWER mount). Developed for our Grand Am Cup 328i race car, this lower shock mount works on all 2006+ E90/E92 including 325i, 328i, 330i, & 335i. This price is for a pair of rear shock mounts.

Our Racing Rear Lower Shock Mount is machined out of aircraft grade aluminum. We include both the TSU9007B15 and TSU9007B50 bushing kits with this package.

Our experience with spherical front control arm ball joints go back to those we designed and used in our IMSA E90 328i and E92 M3 racecars (GS class Champions in 2011). Since BMW recommends the control arms be replaced for every other bushing change, we prefer to sell these as a pre-assembled set. Rubber mounts in any position of a vehicle are usually designed with comfort and longevity in mind leaving performance as a sacrifice. This kind of sacrifice here at Turner just won't do, so we did what we do best and designed a solid monoball mount.

Our engineering team first wanted to tackle the issue with wear found on rubber mounts. Due to their combination of steel, rubber, and low mounting location, these mounts are a direct target for deterioration and failure. As they are positioned out in the open and exposed to the elements, bonded steel and rubber components inevitably hold moisture, separating as the steel bearing begins to rust. Our solution was to offer a rebuildable mount with a Teflon lined bearing for increased durability, combined with a blue anodized body and melonite coated bushing sleeves for corrosion resistance.

The performance side of these mounts is primarily found in the articulation allowed by the bearing. Rubber mounts do not allow for proper free damper movement, hindering shock performance. By eliminating the deflection found in factory rubber mounts and allowing full shock articulation, this solid monoball design eliminates slop and maximizes shock efficiency and performance, allowing for more predictable handling on the street or the track - with almost zero added noise, vibration, and harshness.

Made in the USAIf you're installing racing rear shocks with a spherical bearing end you will need this adapter mount for the top of the rear shock. Spherical or rod-end bearings are common on race shocks but they are somewhat universal and mounts are not usually included. We designed and engineered these mounts for our E9X M3 and E90 328i IMSA/CTSCC racecars. Our cacing upper shock mount is machined out of aircraft grade aluminum with a tough anodize finish and high grade hardware. Due to the wide variety of spherical bearings and rod-ends found on race shocks, the bushing kit is sold seperately (see chart for bushing sizes).

Replacing your struts and shocks? Don't forget the bushings! The rubber mounts for the shocks will go bad over time, especially if you drive hard or the roads are particularly rough. The shock mounts locate the front struts and rear shocks to the car - providing a quiet and vibration-free buffer between the road and the cabin. Shock mounts and bushings can wear out just like any other rubber part on the car. This leads to more noise and harshness reaching the chassis and may complicate your new suspension install. When installing new shocks, that is the perfect time to also replace the mounts. There is no additional time to install them, no special tools required, and doesn't take any extra time!     Made in the USA These E90/E92 M3 solid rear sub-frame mounts are designed around Grand-Am, BMW CCA, and other series' regulations where a solid metal mount cannot be used. These are derived from, and currently used in our own Turner E92 M3 racecars. Thick Delrin casings are used as the non-metallic solid bushing. High quality aluminum sleeves, with increased surface area, are then pressed into each of the casings with washers integrated into each one. The washers are employed to add an extra safety factor for securing the sub-frame into position.

    The E9x M3 rear sub-frame is the heart of its suspension, and we have found with a short amount of track time the stock bushings will start to degrade. When the M3 sub-frame moves, so do all the suspension mounting points. Replacing the stock rubber bushings limits drivetrain and suspension movement, and keeps your M3's setup the way it's supposed to be. These bushings are CNC machined in the USA and made with high-grade materials.

    Feedback from a fellow tuning shop:
    "I never liked the vague feeling and lack of feedback through the rear suspension wit the stock rubber bushings. Also, with the added power of my ESS VT2-650 kit the car required slight steering corrections under WOT in a straight line due to bushing deflection and this really bothered me. It is important to note that I am ultra sensitive when it comes to NVH and other subtle noises and sensations in a car so when I say that the Delrin mounts add close to zero NVH you can trust me! If someone snuck into my garage and installed the mounts at 2am I doubt I would have ever noticed, apart from the super solid and precise feel they give at the rear of the car."     In addition, there is a lower shock mount to locate the shock to the suspension (installs on spring arm), 33526768544.
